His first album was underrated. But as a rapper, I always felt DMX was overrated. No doubt he earned his spot in hip hop history.

Diamond D is an underground legend, other producers in the same vein are Large Professor and Pete Rock.

Then you have the major names like RZA and Dr Dre.

It's a hard question to answer, Dr Dre has god-tier beats but sucks on the mic. I would rate RZA above Dre because his lyricism is so much stronger.

The underground guys flip the samples alot more and build it from the ground up - they don't have the luxury of looping parliment or Zapp, so they work alot harder.

What do you think bro?

Neat. I started messing around with beats on one of my friends MPC's before I owned a turntable. Thats why i decided to get one and buy records, so I could sample off it.

Do you have a sound cloud page or youtube channel where we can hear some of your beats?

Zero chance I'd share that info here.

I have made money selling beats, even teaching people.

My plan or next move has always been a YouTube channel with tutorials and beats.

Also getting into songwriting and recording those song as demos, obviously goal there is to hopefully land some major placements.

I'd never share that with this place, way too many Timmys here and that's business for me.

Ok fair enough brah. Do you sample from vinyl at all?

I always check the thrift stores/markets for dusty old records, usually a dollar a piece.
You never know what you're gonna find and half the time I won't know whats on the record until I get it home and listen to it.

Digging in the crates has awared me of more music than the radio/tv ever could.
