damn.. that sounds way too common and typical. I also don't understand why so many of them rush into marriage, I've seen it too. sometimes it has to do with one person in the couple being relocated to a different military base and the only way for them to stay together is through marriage. A lot of women who live in cities with a large military presence will intentionally look for men in the military to latch onto for the financial support.

They give you a free house and more pay for getting married. If you are in a LTR it's kind of stupid not to. It's one of the most ridiculous incentives ever especially since the single soldiers in the barracks have to do more work and put in longer hours.

they do not give you a free house. If housing is available on a military base, they are able to go on a waiting list to live in one of those houses and higher priority if they have children (you don't own the house). You don't however need to be married in order to get housing money and live off base or get your own house or apartment. Most everyone will get that eventually. They get some additional pay and money but it really isn't enough to warrant getting married over. I wouldn't go so far to say that "you'd be stupid not to if you're in a long term relationship". Most couples I know who got married quickly in the military didn't last. They were divorced within 2 years or less. Some did though.

Must be different in Canada. In the US you get a free house or the equivalent in cash. Quite a raise for no extra work. In most cases less work because the guys in the barracks are always being grabbed for after hours duty.

I've seen a shift in older women interested in me @ 26 I think the above scenario is beginning to play out:
- Younger women getting the bag moneymaxxing as they ration their glow out to OF, Sugar Daddies, etc.
- Older women increased sex drive but little-to-no glow remaining, hit up younger brahs who got squeezed out of traditional dating market of their peers

Nature's way of finding an equilibrium and I'm ok with it, if it means access to females increases as you age (peak @ 50 like misc says)
