So thankful my wife takes care of herself! She was lean before our child and got back on the wagon after he was born without skipping a beat. She loves working out though as she says it makes her feel confident and keeps her sane.

My girl worked as an registered nurse, while attending grad school, and helped take care of the house and our child...yet still found the time to eat healthy and workout consistently...

If she was able, any of these other women (and men, because let's be honest men let themselves go too) can do it as well.

Culture has been swirling the drain the past decade and a half with increasing speed. Notice how everything someone should be ashamed of, people are now expected to worship? And notice how traits that should be admirable (loyalty, work ethic, drive, determination, self-accountability) are framed as oppressive or bigoted?

Bunch of mediocre losers are trying to rig the game so they can have a chance at winning, because they suck too much to succeed on merit and talent alone.

Agreed, diet is crucial and that doesn't take any extra time to eat less calories. Exercise is important and you don't need to spend hours in a gym to look halfway decent.

Most people are lazy period.

Excuses, simple as that. 30min workout and you can be sweating like a pig.

Who can't spare 30mins a few times per week (on average)?

Bunch of mediocre losers are trying to rig the game so they can have a chance at winning, because they suck too much to succeed on merit and talent alone.
it doesn't matter

do you think these people who let themselves look horrible are actually competent high ranking members of whatever organization they work for?

do you think they even have jobs?

just bc they get attention on social media doesn't mean that being fat and lazy is somehow desirable in our society.

being energetic/attractive/hardworking will always be superior and will get you more friends/better jobs. nothing could ever change that.

This is key. Changing what is true in this world -- and how it has been for generations -- all for the sake of maintaining their self-deceptions. People want to have their cake and eat it too (lol analogy.) With the fat positivity nonsense it was apparent it was mostly just lardass women still wanting to sit at the beautiful people's table -- not that they were truly oppressed in any real way. Well maybe I can shame and dupe others into thinking I'm just as beautiful as they are, so they will have to let me sit there.

It's not just getting attention on social media, you're a fool if you don't notice the lowering of standards across the board in every field. Look at things like movies being made, music that's popular, TV shows and their writing...people are hired based on their politics, not their talent. To deny this is lunacy. And people who don't conform get dragged and blacklisted. Look at what happened to Days Gone.

dun give a chit what people say.

imo, body weight is 98.64563% genetics.

Always look at the girls parents to get an idea of what the future holds. A fit person with fat parents is inevitably going to bloatmax

They don't make any effort to study up on ways to be efficient in the kitchen, or even use Crock Pots and InstantPots. As if people who are at a healthier weight are just constantly in either the kitchen or the gym.
Their priorities are all messed up and trust me they will pay for it down the road. Some people have made snide comments in the past about my lifting and sometimes being too careful with my diet. I'll tell you right now...I may be older but I don't have a single ache, pain, take any kind of meds or have any physical problems/issues at all. I can do circles around most people half my age and that's not bragging I'm being totally serious.

this is fringe crazy internet chit

are people on average becoming uglier/taking less care of themselves? yes absolutely, we are validated on that by seeing ads targeting plus size, pushing the whole "big is beauty" thing. That's just simple marketing. If there are more fat people then it makes sense to make your brand friendly to them

but go to any social setting, any organization. the people who are the most attractive/intelligent are still leading the charge, they are the most desired.

we still worship athletes/tv stars/ instagrammers who are beautiful farrrr more than any of these hamplanets. these are one off viral videos vs tons and tons of actual in shape and beautiful models out there with billions of followers.

and before you start me on the fat models that we know about like Tess Holiday, there is like less than a handful of those with a meaningful following and literally thousands of actual pretty people with huge followings on social media

who gives af if the average population is getting more out of shape/ugly? shouldn't affect you

Somewhere 140ish. I've posted that pic here at least three times lol. When I moved to the states I got as low as 100lbs. at my lowest. Between those extremes is good.

I've been fat and i've been lean, and nothing better than being in shape and lean.

Easy to make excuses and justify letting your self go and pretending to not care about your appearance then hating somebody who looks superior to you, etc.

This isn't "Fringe internet stuff," this is reality that has obviously taken over society. I'm not saying you can't still succeed employing things like hard work, talent, and loyalty, I'm saying there's forces at work shifting the paradigm where those values are framed negatively.
People would rather cancel competition than learn how to compete.

This is a blatantly obvious fact, the effects of which have already changed various industries in obvious and profound ways. You're focused on the superficial "physical attraction" factor but I'm more talking about across the board ideals and morals.

For example, OnlyFans, Snapchat, TikTok, Insta...girls basically doing softcore (or actual) porn on these sites immediately demotes their attractiveness. It's incredibly trashy. But it is now more socially acceptable to whore yourself digitally, than it is to make fun of people who do so. That is a paradigm that was literally REVERSED. You can't tell me that isn't true. And being a whooooer on social media is UGLY. It's gross and sleazy. But now it's more the norm than criticizing it. This is just one aspect, I could list dozens more. So don't say it's "Fringe."
