I dunno, my best friend was in banking and then moved over to PE ....at first he was working upwards of 100 hours but only when he was on a deal, otherwise it was like 50 ...but now he's a principal in PE and all he does is travel and sometimes when he's at mine stopping in for a weekend he literally hops on a few calls for maybe an hour or two and that's it ... this last month the guy has been to NYC, Tennesse, LA twice just visiting portfolio companies.. sometimes he tells me he put in like 4 hours of work that week

I think I'd rather be him though, as he's absolutely moneymaxxed and I'm broke AF lmao
