That's where the phrase "That's gay" came from. My generation around that time made it up.

If you think gays are talked about now it was NONSTOP in the 80s until HIV drugs were developed in the late 90s.

In addition, hetersexuals aren't becoming gay due to mass news about it. Being gay is a complex psychological issues starting at home. So, you can't "spread gayness" and that means there can be news all day about it, but that doesn't make any difference.

What started to ruin our culture was the 60s and 70s promoting the destruction of family as a social power move for women. Also, women working is a horrible thing too. They are not mentally fit to work most careers and children suffer for it. However, women are the biggest dupes and supers in the history of the world and fall for anything the media says.

However, the media (tiny hats) went after women WAY before now with TV and advertizing. That led to women totally destroying society by breaking up families and rejecting kids for work, drugs, whoring around.

As I said to you before, another thirty years and NOW will seem ideal. But, the events thirty years from now will be things started today.

Social trends aren't like mushrooms that suddenly spring up over night, then are more like trees that slowly form and branch out.

I don't agree with your comment that women aren't mentally fit to work most careers. Which careers are you referring to? I've know many female doctors, lawyers, high-level executives, and even I have depression and anxiety and I have had a successful career. Now physically fit is true in some careers like police and firefighting but the women do help with more de-escalation with police work.

It has hurt children. I do know that as I took a few years off to be with my child. It was totally worth it but then I re-entered the workforce at half of my salary. It took a few years to get back up, so it's really hard to take time off as a working parent.

The 80s were good because people weren't glued to their cell phones. You could have real conversations with people. Even the 90s mostly had phones for calling so it wasn't like it is now where everyone is glued to their phone.
