I'm saying the urges are there, chasing them produces nothing of real value, and that people would be smarter to recognize this and put their energy towards any number of other things.

Boil it down and masturbation achieves basically the same thing. I can bust 2-3x a day every single day and would have probably been chasing 2-3 girls a day every single day earlier in our evolutionary history. That's not a thing anymore, I'm not trying to knock up 2-3 girls a day, so the urges are kinda just a burden now
Personally, i'd rather have sex than beat off. Atleast you sort of connect with another person and experience some sense of intimacy . I think you just have a cynical view of this.

That's like asking :

What's the point of driving an expensive sports car when you could just drive a 98 civic ?

What's the point of going out to eat a resteraunt when you could stay home and eat ramen noodles ?

Some dudes would be surprised to hear how common sexless/low sex marriages are. Tons of married couples barely bang once a month. Statstics show 51% male/49% female infidelity percentages. If you take a closer look at the percentages of cheating in marriage, 20% of men cheat and 14% of women cheat....Both sexes are ratchet and neither have the market on it.

In addition only 17% of women get caught cheating and most never tell their partners where as men get caught in much higher rates. The studies show women are better at lying and manipulation which is the reason for this statistic.

The statistics are probably extremely low as people probably lie during the surveys.

In the end, Its 2022 - We no longer believe in female moral superiority (not being hateful, we just have the internet now)

Well I have a different approach to it and it is not common but ejaculation and orgasms are actually two unique events that do not have to happen simultaneously, very few of my orgasms are a chance to make babies. After learning that I was able to concentrate on how good the actual sex and masturbation are in and of themselves - best feeling in the world and that is why I chase them and then having whole body dry orgasms that are an out of body experience.

As for monogamy I think it goes back to finding the right partner. once you find someone you really care about and you start experiencing the best sex of your life, and I'm not talking about busting a nut that has you horny again in 10 minutes, I am talking about being perennially horny and always wanting sex, you don't have the urge to chase others because there is no point.

It sneaks up on you over time as well. Within the first two years it's frequent, then once you move in it drops to weekly, biweekly and then suddenly it's been five weeks without anything. If you have a partner that can go without for a while, that is.

I'd also love to see stats on pre kids and post kids frequency. While there's young chldren in the house I bet the frequency drops significantly.

I just realized Ive become that couple recently.. lol

The first few months it was every day or every other day.. now its been like once or twice a week?

there are a lot of factors though.. Im not even that excited anymore either.. but if she wanted it, I would get my dink hard and do it just cuz it feels good.

since she started school, shes literally studying all day and then passes out after. So she has no energy.
I feel like she is too lazy to shower or shave sometimes and she thinks she needs to before we can have sex. but I dont care. I would do regardless obviously.

This. I still go for twice per week or EOD, but even my long-term gf of over 7 years still needs 2 or often 3 days of recovery time. Daily sex has never been a thing for me.

Yeah, kids are a big deal in this. Goes up during the pregnancy hormone overload. Then with infants, it goes down because she is constantly both exhausted and preoccupied (which is understandable if you've gone through this). Then in toddler stage, it goes up a bit again because they sleep through the night but also go to bed early. When ours hit pre-teen to teenager age, it's a hinderance again because they stay up later and also understand what's going on if they hear a lot of moaning and headboard hitting the wall. Can't wait until they leave for college and we can get nekkid and go at it at 6:00. LOL.
