2. if you ever conducted a study or read them, there are methods and steve has huge holes so i questioned his holes.
3. everyone on earth knows the crime trends but we are missing a huge chunk and no way to verify/validate steves chart
4. asking relevant, obvious questions, are not in any way dismissing it, just requesting better data.

I would chime in because I consider myself pretty savvy on the topic of racial issues in the USA, but given the level of discussion in so many (but not quite all) of the responses on here, I have decided not to offer the kind of jeremiad I often offer because I would be repeating the same things I've repeated on similar forums numerous times in the past. In a nutshell, the vast majority (90+%) of crimes committed by African-Americans are against other African-Americans. It's systemically engineered for it to be this way, and it passed the level of disgusting what seems like eons ago. There are vast majority white communities that are suburbs outside of much larger majority black cities where there might have been zero or perhaps only 1 homicides EVER reported, and you can bet that in those more white, more wealthy areas, the crimes and murders are merely more 'sophisticated' and have been covered up more. More money in those communities means more motivation to commit crime, and this may often be one or more family members against another, and they have too much power for the police to even think about trying to enforce justice.
