I have not driven a Type R so I cant comment on how it feels. Explain to me how the Type R feels better than an LP640 in low gear and high RPM.
Status is part of it. But if I wanted status there are far more comfortable and realiable cars than the LP640 for the money no? The Huracan is way more logical.
I am ALL ABOUT subjective feel. I honestly dont care what the fastest is because if you really want to look at it, the Plaid is faster than the Type R at the light so I go by how the experience makes me feel.
"Fact of the matter is many times money doesnt make the difference" - if you looked at my posts about the diamond game im saying it does and it doesnt

Again, money doesn't really make the difference, because like I said, if you wanted to go for wow, you could have chosen better stones for a much cheaper price. Hell, with a car at least I can understand that a more expensive car can be faster and such, but for what amounts to a rock, like I said, I don't get it, and I doubt I ever will. I don't get watches either to be honest. Every single thing now tells the time, so for that a watch is not needed. If you'll say you admire the complexity of the movement, well your phone is about 1 million times more complex. Maybe you just like how they look, but if that were the case there'd be no need to pay $30k-$50k+ for a watch. That leaves the only true reason, so you can say you spent however much. That's fine, but it's not something I can even begin to comprehend.

If I threw a retirement party and my wife bought my a Rolex for a gift......and later I found out it was a replica. I would probably have a problem with it. I'd rather her not buy me a watch at all. I am not saying this is the only way....this is just how I think and others around me in real life would agree. We have had these conversations.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

My bro got a cock ring on his finger and a band on hers and they still cool after 8 years. You tell me a bigger stone is gonna make something last longer than it should?

Determining how much to spend on an engagement ring is a highly personal decision that varies from couple to couple. While traditional guidelines suggest allocating around two to three months' salary, it's essential to approach this decision with careful consideration of your financial circumstances and priorities. Rogers & Hollands has a collection of engagement rings that come under budget.
Rather than fixating on a specific dollar amount, it's crucial to establish a budget that aligns with your financial goals and values. Consider factors such as your income, expenses, savings goals, and any other financial obligations you may have.
