Did they specify foreign actors hacked Hunter Biden's laptop? No.
Did they warn them not to disseminate any articles related to his laptop? No.
Would there be repercussions if they did disseminate the NY Post article even if the information was hacked by a foreign government? No.
Even other Twitter personnel admitted that it had nothing to do with the material being hacked or any meeting with the FBI. It was a conscious effort done internally by Twitter... likely with the thought of swaying the election. But the rest is a CT.

Amazing how the 68 IQ crew "doesn't care because Hunter isn't president" but goes to great lengths to defend him. That p3do defending p3do group think in action.

And if you think it's a conspiracy theory that the feds were spying on Rudy G, here is an August 2021 article that says they were spying on his iCloud since 2019 with a covert warrant, without his knowledge.
And if you think it's a conspiracy theory that the feds were spying on Rudy G, here is an August 2021 article that says they were spying on his iCloud since 2019 with a covert warrant, without his knowledge.
A lawyer for former New York City mayor and Donald Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani said the Justice Department revealed on a Thursday conference call that the feds had penetrated Giuliani’s iCloud long before Wednesday’s search warrants were executed.
“I was told about it today in a conference call with the [U.S.] Attorney’s office,” attorney Robert Costello, a longtime friend of Giuliani’s, told The Daily Beast on Thursday night. “They told me they obtained a ‘covert warrant’ for Giuliani’s iCloud account in ‘late 2019.’ They have reviewed this information for a year and a half without telling us or [fellow Trump-aligned attorney] Victoria Toensing.”
...
Such accounts can store photos, text messages, emails, and a range of data from an Apple device’s applications, depending on the user’s settings.

Perfect timing, NY post just released this story:
FBI’s fake ‘warnings’ about our Hunter story were clearly a coverup to aid Joe Biden
Perfect timing, NY post just released this story:
FBI’s fake ‘warnings’ about our Hunter story were clearly a coverup to aid Joe Biden
Talk about spreading “disinfo”! As The Post’s Miranda Devine reports, the FBI specifically warned Twitter to expect a “hack-and-leak” operation by “state actors” involving Hunter Biden, likely in October 2020, a key Twitter official says in a sworn declaration — even though the agency knew very well that info floating around about him was 100% legitimate.
Could evidence of an FBI coverup be any stronger?
The information came from Hunter’s laptop, which the agency itself had in its possession since 2019, a year before it issued its warnings.
And the FBI knew the laptop was legit, because in December 2019 it visited the owner of the repair shop where Hunter had abandoned it and verified its authenticity. (It even reportedly got its hands on a second Hunter laptop later, though as part of an unrelated investigation.)
Why were agents suggesting that info involving Hunter might be the work of “state actors” when the FBI knew darn well it wasn’t? Clearly, the goal was to nudge Twitter and others to squelch news that might damage Joe Biden’s election chances.
In a December 2020 sworn declaration, Twitter’s former head of site integrity Yoel Roth told the Federal Election Commission that agents warned him “individuals associated with political campaigns” were “subject to hacking attacks” and culprits would likely try to disseminate hacked info “over social media platforms.” Roth said they noted rumors that “a hack-and-leak operation would involve Hunter Biden.”
Sure enough, when The Post ran its Oct. 14, 2020, scoop about Hunter’s laptop, Twitter immediately censored it, citing its “hacked materials” policy. The Post’s story revealed emails exposing Hunter’s shady foreign deals, including millions that went to Bidens.
Agents might’ve even known The Post was about to publish its scoop, since the FBI had been spying on Rudy Giuliani and had access to his emails. Some of them mentioned the laptop material and a discussion with Devine about when the paper would run the story. The (fake) warnings clearly had the desired effect.
This was the second time in four years that FBI agents spread disinfo in an apparent attempt to meddle in a presidential election: Recall that in 2016, they used the Clinton-campaign-funded Steele dossier, which they’d already discredited, as the basis for surveillance to probe supposed Trump campaign-Russia collusion.
And it turns out some of the people who got the media to suppress our Hunter story have ties to Russiagate names: Supervisory Special Agent Elvis Chan, for example, admits that before the 2020 election he organized weekly meetings with ********, which also limited access to our story. Chan was an acquaintance of Twitter counsel James Baker, who before that was a top FBI lawyer involved in the Russia-collusion plots, and also worked with fiercely anti-Trump FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

Omg, the forums obsession with Biden's laptop is beyond unhealthy.
Like I said back in 2020 to anyone who brings up the laptop:
1. What role does Hunter have in the government? What role is he doing?
2. Does he go to meetings on behalf of the US government?
3. Have the Trump kids done all the same chit too?
WRT to the last one, yes, they have. Trump put his family in paid positions on cabinet. He put Ivanka and Jared in key positions with no experience. Ivanka used her position to get rich. And of course we hear nothing from the hypocritical right.
Twitter blocked the stupid NYPost story because of their policy regarding hacked materials, despite them being unsure if the materials were hacked.
Ro Khanna doesn't understand how free speech works and claims that Twitters decision is a violation of the First Amendment. End of story.
Why you guys can't read between the lines with this chit is a testament to your stupidity and gullibility. Musk wants to get engagement on Twitter and ensure DeSantis gets into office, and this is his way of swaying public opinion. The tools were available democrats and republicans. So why not share what Trump's administration asked to be removed?

Has nothing to do with the laptop itself. It's sad that you libs don't care that our government is corrupt.
Of course they lied. They knew the laptop story was coming out in October, they had Rudy G under surveillance. Do I need to remind you that the FBI had a copy of the laptop since 2019? They knew exactly what would be released and the origins of where it came from.
Is Rudy G a foreign actor? No
Did Rudy G obtain the laptop from a foreign actor? No
Was the laptop hacked?No
Did the FBI know all this?Yes

Yes, they indeed specified that it would be a state (foreign) actor that would be involved in a "hacked-and-leaked operation related to Hunter Biden. Did you want the FBI to share with Twitter that they knew it was specifically a laptop because they had Rudy G under surveillance? Just Lol.

That is the entire point of them meeting weekly, not to disseminate foreign "hacked-and-leaked operations."
And yes, they did warn them that there would a Hunter Biden "hacked-and-leaked operation" by state actors - which was a lie.
Do you need no repercussions from the FBI to absolve the FBI from any involvement? No
Wut? The sole basis for it being censored was for being "hacked materials" and violating their hacked materials policy.
Furthermore, no one has ever said it had nothing to do with meeting with the FBI.
Initially, I had made the mistake of misinterpreting this Taibbi tweet # 22 below. It is a poorly worded tweet. As you can see, Taibbi was talking about no evidence of government involvement in obtaining the laptop, or no foreign hacking of the laptop. NOT no government involvement of twitter censoring the laptop story.
Even Twitter never said, even Yoel Roth never said the FBI warned them about Hunter Biden's laptop - so that part we can pretty much immediately disregard. Now, that doesn't mean they didn't say the candidates children could be targets - that's fair. But forget the laptop because they never mentioned the laptop or disseminating information related to it. A blanket statement of "candidates and their families can be targets of hacks" is a lot different than "don't allow users to disseminate articles on HB's laptop."
Also, Twitter could allow their users to disseminate the NY Post article regardless... even if it was hacked. Supposedly Twitter employees said they internally made a conscious effort to not allow dissemination of it - and they said it wasn't because of it being "hacked" materials or the FBI.
Now you can say that youbelievethat the FBI used broad wording to warn Twitter that information could come to light thatcouldbe hacked by a foreign actor, and that led them not allow dissemination because it violates their own[/] new rules... but good luck proving that when the people working there don't believe that's the truth.

“I was told in these meetings that the intelligence community expected that individuals associated with political campaigns would be subject to hacking attacks and that material obtained through those hacking attacks would likely be disseminated over social media platforms, including Twitter,” said Roth in a Dec. 21, 2020, declaration to the Federal Election Commission.
“I also learned in these meetings that there were rumors that a hack-and-leak operation would involve Hunter Biden.”

Yes, Yoel Roth said in sworn testimony that specifically Hunter Biden would be targeted.

Between the FBI's warning and their Hacked Materials Policy, they decided to not allow dissemination of the NY Post story.
This is a letter from Twitter's attorney, sent to the FEC, which also included the sworn testimony of Yoel Roth. It clearly states that the FBI's warning of hack-and-leak operation targeted against Hunter Biden was reason to censor the story.

I am not saying that Twitter and ******** didn't stop dissemination to affect the outcome of the election - very possible they did. Given Yoel Roth's extreme left stance, it wouldn't surprise me. It's possible that they were trying to take extra precautions since the 2016 election fiasco they were involved in and thought that this was their opportunity to enforce their new rules. And yes, it's also possible they took a "vague" statement from the FBI and either opportunisticallyusedthat as part of the internal reasoning to suppress dissemination of the article for their own political purposes. There are many "could be" scenarios here. My guess is that Twitter is a leftist platform and they made a conscious effort to stop dissemination for their own political agenda... maybe I'm wrong... maybe they were scared by a vague statement by the FBI, which still had zero legal repercussions if they didn't adhere to it... not impossible, although I don't put much weight into that.
This is starting to sound like 2016 again except the Democrats are now the Republicans and looking for ways to blame the FBI for the outcome of the election. One year they're swinging it D and then next it's R. It's an easy scapegoat. But I haven't even heard a statement from Twitter or ******** that the FBI had in any way pressured them to not disseminate the NY Post story. If there is a statement or proof of that, I would definitely welcome it.

It was in Yoel Roth's sworn testimony that the warning was specifically about Hunter Biden.
Read Yoel's sworn testimony on page 19 & 20.
