i tried following the twisted blade build but i found adding a bow attack to the mix with it more fun to use (rapid fire)

I don't use dash with twisted blades personally. Never saw the use. I've been wingin my build the whole time and it seems to wreck. Will upload a vid later of my skills. But at level 43 I have Shadowstep, Dark Shroud, Shadow Imbument, Shadow Clone, Puncture and TB. Talent I'm running Preparation so I can use my Shadow Clone 2-3 times on one boss fight. Just melts them down like buttah.

Unless you flat out don’t enjoy the gameplay itself, I think anyone would have an incredibly difficult time saying they didn’t get their $70 worth.
There’s just soo much to do in the game aside from the campaign.

you're probably right. I'm probably just delaying the inevitable regardless of what is or isn't said about the game. Even if I play it for a month or two I'll likely get my money's worth as it is a Diablo game after all.

Did some diking around in Act 1 on my sorc and decided to move on to Act 2 on lvl 28. Am I overlevelled as fuk? Did 4 or so cellars, about 10 side quests and don't think I did a single dungeon that wasn't related to at least a side quest. Also one stronghold. Sorc is fun, started out as CL, switched to Firewall/Hydra as I started slowing down. Not remotely as OP as the CL/Hydra build in the beta but it's cool. Also ran a bit around with my Necro.

Obviously playing at very low lvls at the moment but a single weapon drop makes the difference between struggling with mobs/bosses and mowing down everything on screen.

Things are looking great so far.

This is feeling like Diablo 3.5 to me. I quit diablo 3 after a month and never touched it again... I'm still pushing through lol, maybe i'm wrong.

This. Played D4 intensely Thurs, Fri, Sat since some friends wanted to play it. Got so fukkin sick of it after ~45. Grinded slowly and so fukkin painfully until like 67. There is no reason to play the game. No incentive - no trade, pvp is pretty ass, no bosses, no new content (lmao helltide and nightmare dungeons are dumb as fuk, boring, and repetitive), etc. The level scaling is the dumbest chit of all time.

If you haven't purchased, DO NOT. I wish I could refund. Never buying Blizz again.

Fuking ded complaining about lack of content then bringing up that 24 year old dogpoop, where you could uhh trade your duped stuff and endlessly run Meph, Baal and Pindle. And that’s it.

Fractured Peaks has more content than the 3,5 acts of D2 and seasons won’t even be out for at least a month.

I am enjoying the game thoroughly as well, truly loving it so far. I wish it would have been easier to try other classes though, I think you would have to restart everything as of now if you started a new class if I am not wrong.

Other than that, the game is AMAZING and a true blast. I am known on the misc for working 16+ Hrs, I cut back on that madness to play D4.

Lol at the difference in opinions here


For me I am enjoying it. Just completed Campaign yesterday. Won't spoil anything but it was pretty great. Level 49 now so will be doing the end game stuff soon.

I’m having fun but I’m also only level 24 and haven’t done a fraction of what the game offers still.

Maybe I’ll feel differently by the time I’m in my 40’s or 50’s.

content = running around doing the same thing over and over again, knowing you will not get any epic drops or rewards.

atleast in d2, there was always a small chance of that.

Feels great to me at level 49. It has some feeling of D3 in some aspects but one of the biggest complaints with me on D3 was the cartoony look/aesthetic. They nailed the darkness D4 needed so I can deal with some of D3's stuff as long as the game looks good, IMO.

Watch out your comments bro. D2 is not dogpoop, it is a legendary game. Nowadays a lot of vets play PD2, which they added a ****load of stuff. Will prolly go back to it at some point, the mod is very good.
