The report in Public cites “multiple U.S. government officials interviewed as part of a lengthy investigation” saying that Ben Hu, who led WIV’s gain-of-function research on coronaviruses, was among the “patients zero” who contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus in November of 2019.

The Public report carries the bylines of journalists Michael Shellenberger, Matt Taibbi and Alex Gutentag.

“When a source was asked how certain they were that these were the identities of the three WIV scientists who developed symptoms consistent with COVID-19 in the fall of 2019, we were told, “100%” it reads.

ODNI report came out last night. Says otherwise.

lmfao you can't be 100% certain about anything, and lol @ "trust me bro" govt officials as evidence

As opposed to counting “well they sold mammals there and ‘trust me bro Chinese officials’ said it’s not from a lab” as evidence.

3.) the virus was present at the market at the same time animals were(again despite the fact that none of the animals there ever tested positive for the virus).

I must say, I’m not overwhelmed. Also, how can you claim to know that the cleavage site wasn’t manipulated? The longer we go without discovering the animal(s) that this virus naturally originated in the less likely it is that they even exist at all, which means it’s more and more likely that it was an engineered virus.
The seafood market is not next to the WIV.

If you actually read the paper, they also show that the seafood market gets little foot traffic relative other areas. In other words, it is very unlikely by random chance the market would be the outbreak epicenter if a worker was infected at the WIV

The animals were not tested. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence

And all of the other “evidence” regarding animals is completely obliterated by the fact that no animals in the market have ever been found to be infected with the virus. Also lmfao at saying the lab leak theory is nothing but circumstantial when the list you praise is nothing but circumstantial(and that’s being generous enough to even use the word evidence when referring to it at all). Nothing on that list means that it could not have been from the lab, and again the inability to find an animal species where it originated when they know exactly where to look(and did look extensively) points to the likelihood that it never started in an animal.

As far it originating in the lab, we now know that there lab workers were sick with an illness in line with Covid 19 to the point where some are 100% confident in claiming they are patient(s) zero. As far as why it didn’t spread so rapidly through the lab, I would say the PPE worn by workers would explain some of it. But once it hit the market(where those protective measures weren’t in place) it spread rapidly. And that was less than one month after the initial sickness in the lab workers, so it’s perfectly reasonable to look at that as a possibility. And that’s before we even get into some of the unique characteristics of the virus that have made some very reputable and knowledgeable people say it is EXTREMELY unlikely for a virus to end up like that naturally, but is exactly what we would expect to occur with the types of manipulations that were taking place in the lab.
Explain why the market was the epicenter if it came from the WIV.

Explain why there were no intermediates between lineages A and B, and why both A and B were found at the market.

There are absolutely no characteristics that suggest it was genetically engineered. The genome of sarscov2 screams natural recombination.

It’s less than 10 miles away and frequented by many of the people who worked at the lab. Also, Lold at picking that out while not touching the other points or talking about Reliance’s trash tier list of “overwhelming” evidence.
Go ahead and choose any point of evidence from the list I made. Give it your best shot.

Trust the science.... the same science that made the virus.

Honestly, a war where millions die is the only way to solve this. It has to leave such a mark on history that at least for a while nobody will try this again, and if they do, everyone will come after them.

In this war, everyone who funded or participated in this gain of function action be put to death, brutally. Then go after others in the same field. When we are done, there won't be anyone left that does this type of research ensuring it to be a dead science.

So just to summarize the story of lab leakers:

A WIV worker became infected and traveled straight to a market ~ 10 miles away, which by chance was one of four locations in a city of 11 million selling mammals known to harbor coronaviruses including some that were implicated in SARS1. Then, about a week later another worker became infected with a different lineage at the WIV and went to the same market and also infected some people. A market that gets relatively little foot traffic btw. Oh and somehow the furin clevage site, which would be the primary focus of genetic engineering, shows clear signs that it was incorporated into the genome through natural recombination. And despite sampling a tiny fraction of all viruses, very closely related coronaviruses have already been discovered.

At the market, exactly where they were predicted to be
