"Kindling due to substance withdrawal refers to the neurological condition which results from repeated withdrawal episodes from sedative–hypnotic drugs such as alcohol and benzodiazepines.
Each withdrawal leads to more severe withdrawal symptoms than in previous episodes. Individuals who have had more withdrawal episodes are at an increased risk of very severe withdrawal symptoms, up to and including seizures and death."

They’re used off label for alcohol and benzo withdrawal.

All that to say, I wouldn’t just **** with meds unless prescribed. Go to the ER. Srs. They’ll IV you. You’ll stay for a few days. They’ll check your vitals and(good ERs) should have resources to give you for when you’re discharged.
If money is an issue, look for sliding scale, especially if you don’t have insurance since you aren’t working
The sooner you get a handle on this the better but you’re beyond just tapering. Even if you did, you won’t stay sober man. I know that’s harsh, you’re a cool/funny poster but you have to be real. You need counseling/support. You can’t white knuckle it. Some can, but I just don’t think that will work for you.

Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant drug used off-label to treat alcohol-related withdrawal, cravings, anxiety, and insomnia. It has demonstrated efficacyfor mild alcohol withdrawaland early abstinence, but there isconcern about its potential for abuse. Gabapentin should be prescribed only as asecond-line alternative to standard therapies, and only after screening for opioid or other prescription drug abuse to determine if heightened monitoring is warranted.
Sounds like a GREAT idea to self medicate. Definitely do NOT seek the help of professional doctors, just self medicate based on what a benzo addicted turbosloot in her 50s and a retarded post deleter on the misc say.

Imagine you’re a third party observer watching yourself right now. Sloppy, ill, disgusting, poisoning yourself alone in your living room. It would be a sad, depressing scene

The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

i have a dinky breathalyzer thing that i actually think is accurate-ish
was just .18 and feeling like death before this current beer
no clue how i'm even managing to get this drunk because i can't physically drink that fast anymore
i've created a new normal baseline that involves being drunk but also feeling like death
not ideal
i'm so exhausted
