Covington is an embarrassment, honestly I'm tired of these **** talkers in combat sports, they are NEVER all they crack themselves up to be, the best of the best are never **** talkers.

Leon Edwards, he's not the most exciting but he does have nice stand up skills, very accurate and technical striker, he might be more of a problem than people think, his striking accuracy is going to give anyone problems. When a guy can touch you that easily it really throws you off, he lacks a little in power though which is why Covington was able to get brave towards the end, outside the leg kicks Edwards wasn't doing enough damage.

Looks like the long lay off completely ruined Colby.

Dude used to push the pace and overwhelm his opponents, never letting them rest.

His time is up it seems.

I like Leon but the guy is a boring champion. His KO of Usman was god like but we gonna act like this guy wasn't just winning decisions non stop before that.

I think you are misunderstanding what happened. It wasn't a Colby problem, it was a Leon problem. Leon didn't allow Colby to get anything going. Switching stances constantly alongside popping the jab, leg kicks.

I was super surprised during the broadcast to see the odds. For me Emmett was the second easiest pick on the entire main card after the prediction of grandpa Tony taking a beating.

If things weren't embarrassing enough already, Covington decides to call out 41-year old Wonderboy, the easiest ranked fighter at Welterweight, to be his next opponent.

Dana was right. He's old and slow. Leon is boring but a good fighter and complete shut down colby. Sitting his ass down for 2 years probably wasn't the best idea, could've been earning some money and stay sharp

as bad as Colby was. think we gotta give credit to Leon. Going into the fight we all knew that Leon was the superior striker. The difference between Leon and Usman is that Usman has a jab and power. Leon has less power but alot of different weapons and feints that he uses. Not to mention the longer fighter (or at least fights longer). He does remind me of Adesanya at Welterweight.

Is content in fighting more safe from range but I think this fight specifically it was personal so he took more risks in trying to grapple with Colby and just as an f u to give up round 5 because he knew he won the fight. Leon has holes in his game but beating Usman twice and Colby is already quite the resume and a great start to his title reign. If he can beat guys like Shavkat, Belal, (which let's be honest, he already did), Burns those are some solid wins as well. However I think outside of the top 5 Welterweight is a very weak division. It's honestly been weak since Tyron Woodley won the division.

leon style does stop others from doing their game. he made belal look like he doesn't belong when they fought.

welterweight is a weak division, which is kind of odd considering how stacked 155 is.
