There's a couple of basic strategies beyond what I've already suggested. Odds are OP was approaching women who were several notches above what he can reasonably expect because he's a 3-4, especially because his attitude sucks. That means you need to approach girls who are the bottom of the barrel.

So if you're going to approach girls, make sure it's the DUFF of the group. The one that no other guy ever goes near because there are much better options. Those women might actually be receptive to an approach if you do it right, although often they have their bitch shield up simply because they are sick of being ignored.

The other option is to find an unattractive girl who's so drunk she can barely stand and go for those. Or, a good place to try would be cougar bars where just the fact you're young makes you more attractive.

Try commenting on something external first, ask them what they're drinking, about the music, etc. Also, when two people start dancing at a club it usually happens without either of them having to invite it. But if you're just approaching to approach, I guess anything is fine.

I didnt go for any of the obvious model tier. they were mostly average. but it doesnt matter, I get rejected regardless of what they look like

This is exactly what I said above. Grown ass people at clubs who decide to dance don't act like they're at the high-school prom, but it looks like op was just approaching to approach, so I guess it doesn't matter.
