I had terrible tinnitus for a while, now it’s constant but manageable.

I had restless leg as well. My god that was worse. Couldn’t get an ounce of sleep. Was considering topping myself at the thought of it for the rest of my life. Endep saved me there.

So yeah, they definitely exist.

I think how OP feels is how I feel and it's not necessarily saying that these things don't exist but it seems so many people are using them as an excuse to not take responsibility or do their own duties as being an adult.

Go to a great chiropractor and ENT. Stem cells a must try. Seems to work for everything… what do you have to lose? No drugs or smoking. Fresh air hours daily. Get off all electronics for a month. It’s really not, just OP pitched it in a retarded way and used some poor examples.

What he’s essentially talking about though is the medicalisation of life.

I’ll only make a hash of it so I’ll quote wikipedia:
Social iatrogenesis is the medicalization of life in which medical professionals, pharmaceutical companies, and medical device companies have a vested interest in sponsoring sickness by creating unrealistic health demands that require more treatments or treating non-diseases that are part of the normal human experience, such as age-related declines. In this way, aspects of medical practice and medical industries can produce social harm in which society members ultimately become less healthy or excessively dependent on institutional care. Ivan Illich argued that medical education of physicians contributes to medicalization of society because they are trained predominantly for diagnosing and treating illness, therefore they focus on disease rather than on health.

Cultural iatrogenesis refers to the destruction of traditional ways of dealing with, and making sense of, death, suffering, and sickness. In this way the medicalization of life leads to cultural harm as society members lose their autonomous coping skills. It is worth noting that in these critiques "Illich does not reject all benefits of modern society but rejects those that involve unwarranted dependency and exploitation."

Magnesium Citrate 420mg tablet, twice a day, worked to lessen my mild tinnitus after around 4 days. I don't know if it will work for anyone here who has a severe case though. Mine was mild, just usually lasts 1 second and annoyingly happened as I approach the REM stage in my sleep (so that's why I thought it might be a blood pressure or nervous system problem that can be fixed with a supplement). I hope this information helps some of you.

as someone who used to use headphones loudly and been to many metal concerts tinnitus is real

i have it in both ears but it is like 2-3x times louder in my right

have had it for 4-5 years every waking moment. i know it can get louder too cause it will sometimes spike for 10-20 seconds and go back down.

feels bad man. i dont even go to concerts or movies anymore because im scared of making it worse.

i can still hear well but i have this background noise that is 24/7.

6 pages of neurotics outting themselves. Sort out your psychological trauma, and these undetectable ailments will subside.

I had tinnitus after I had double jaw surgery, it can be a side effect from anti biotics, i got home and that night in bed in the dead of night I could hear what sounded like high pitched morse code ringing in both ears.

It only lasted a few days. Could only hear it when I was about to sleep.

Tinnitis is a real thing, and it's fuking obnoxious when you have it. I've had sinus infections in the past where my ears were constantly ringing, and it made me feel like I was going nuts.

I've only had it a few times, mostly when I had some ENT crap going on.
