No console user is looking at the pro and thinking they should leave the platform and invest in PC, lmao.

Some people who want but can't afford the pro will research it while they're outraged for a couple days and realize that PC is absolutely not the direction they want to go if they're angry about price lmao

Some people who want but can't afford it will just stick with the Ps5 for now and upgrade when they can.


The only people this may persuade is ones who already have multiple platforms and think the PS5 pro price can go towards a GPU upgrade. And that's fine, ps5 pro isn't meant for everyone, Sony may be happy if it does 10 million sales total before 2029.

$700 for the pro is hella steep. But as someone who hasn't upgraded from a PS4 to a PS5 yet, I think its a good jump. Or if I can get a cheap PS5 from someone who's looking to upgrade to a pro, that could be a good deal.

Lol @ 3/4 of people using performance mode. It's almost like people hate 30 fps and always have. Yet instead of just focusing on developing games based around that, they'll just give you a device for 800 dollars instead, and advertise it using a bunch of old as **** games

"yet instead of developing games based around that" - is exactly why this presentation failed. Sony DO develop their games based on the PS5 and they look amazing already. It's why the presentation was poor because they only used their own amazing looking games in the comparison so the differences weren't drastic. They cannot force multiplatform devs to make games just based on a PS5 alone, and those games would have been the ideal ones to actually show the differences. I guess they didn't want to trash other companies in their launch trailer.

Digital Foundry just received source footage of the presentation and tweeted this:

Wow, yeah, FF7R looks a LOT better on PS5 Pro. Night and day difference. I actually put off playing it due to other things happening at the time of release but the Pro will finally push me to enjoy it

The conversation would be alot different today if they had showed breakdowns of games like Rebirth, Alan Woke 2,FF16, Jedi Survivor and Dragon's Dogchit 2….games which they even stated will have pro modes day 1, but only showed 3 seconds of footage each for some reason lol

Here's the thing about the high end expensive GPUS, mgfgt can run like 8 of those in his ass at one time for an impressive 32k resolution, you can then run a dildo wire from his mouth to your CPU's dildo port (DP, not to be confused with DisplayPort technology), but you'll need a massive monitor to run that resolution, bigger and wider than mgfgt's cavernous butt hole, srs.
