Very good deal. Lockedandloaded has a FDE Berretta APX 9mm with the 4.25 barrel for 302.00 as of yesterday which is also a steal if you don't mind the tactical tolerlone look on the slide

A lot of people like the M&P better than Glocks. I haven't shot the M&Ps enough to have a strong opinion but I will say that the stippling is unique. I like it but I can see how many wouldn't especially if you use it as a concealed carry gun because its rough almost like sandpaper

Some people can't stand to carry it IWB against the skin. I have no problem with, I IWB EDC an M2.0 against the skin/no under shirt, drive for hours on end basically sitting on it/etc...no issue.

What did drive me absolutely crazy and only last a couple hours the one time was the granular texture Talon grip I tried on a Gen3 Glock.Thatwas a cheese grater.

IMO and IME the best handgun grip textures I've found for a carry gun are
*M&P 2.0
*P365 (just the grip texture!)

Cool, I'm excited to have a compact sized gun. Got a bunch of smaller and bigger guns, but nothing in the in-between size. I did get a 1.0 Shield during the rebates late last year, like it lot so far.

The grip on my M&P I just got was slightly uncomfortable at first to the point of making a good sized red spot on my hand from dry firing it a lot, but it's now "broken in" some and the extreme roughness is gone and just feels good. Still might be a little rough to carry against skin, but not what mine will be used for, so doesn't matter. I did notice that the texture varied some between the different sized backstraps though, so may just be a little hit and miss between what you actually get.
