Ford making an announcement at 9:30, which is Ford world is 10. Rumours are it's to speed up the reopening plan. Which was supposed to happen by March 15th anyway to go to final phase, but he's probably going to say he's getting rid of mask mandates and passports like the other provinces.

Lots of stuff going down today, if JT has the balls to invoke the War Measures Act I'll be shocked.

A good friend of mine decided to make the trek to Ottawa on the weekend. He posted the pics of him and his family there, as well as this on his ********:

"So after listening about the convoy to Ottawa from both sides of the media, yesterday we did a road trip to see it for ourselves. The city is far from under siege from the trucks and the way they are laid out to allow maximum passage for every one is really nice, there’s no “disabled “trucks, there’s war veterans everywhere and standing at the war monument doing there own protest.
There was several million people there and not one single problem that we could see! Everyone was protesting their right to choose what was right for them and the freedom that we are supposed to have to do so. It was absolutely amazing and I can’t even describe the whole event. Absolute love"


Seems like just the situation the war measures act was designed and intended for...

Your friend has severe delusions of how many people were there, but also of course he didn't see a problem - he's not one of the people living in the city with it and supports the convoy.

EDIT: Ford just announced vax passports done as of March 1st and businesses allowed to fully reopen to 100% as of Thursday. No word on mask mandates but vax passes will be voluntary, not mandatory.

I go into Ottawa a few times a week. Not so much traffic this morning. Things seemed even more chill (get the pun). -20c out.
*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*

I get that my buddy exaggerated the number of people there. If there was a thousand of something he'd say a billion (figure of speech, see also: a freakin lot)... One thing that concerned me was them blocking off emergency services. He said he drove right in and was able to move around quite well.

Thats good imo.

Cocky Prime minister aside I am wondering if this protest will slowly fade. The announcements today from Ford will likely help.
