The Geneva convention along with any established rules of engagement were thrown out the window the moment the war started. Quit lying to yourself. The West tried and tried and tried and itstillcouldn't subjugateIraq, a country that'd been slowly chipped at since the Gulf War.Even Afghanistan fell right back into the hands of the Taliban after a decade-long war.

The idea that American troops were hamstrung or held back during the war is just a tale fed to gullible goobers like you to save face.

Literally nothing can be done against Muslims or Islam (srs).

I've watched this explosion clip several times & in my relatively uninformed and somewhat uneducated opinion, -but nevertheless reasonable evaluation- the blastdoes not appear to emanate from the subject.

That security camera obviously had a coarse frame rate, so the first frame that has the explosion in it could have been long enough after the blast emanated from the source to make the source of it appear obscure.

You didn't expect grainy CCTV footage to be 1500 frames/second did you?

Wow 7 pages, what a record. Normally it would be no more than 10 replies if terror attacks happen in the third world.

Nope, 10+ attacks happes in Turkey in the last 12 months, no one cares because they are not in the West but if it happens in the West, there would be 7 day grievance on the social media.

I'm surprised this thread reached 7 pages and people all of sudden react like they think it's the first time in Turkey.

I'm all for guns but Turkey is too messed up for a Turkish version of second amendment.

with all those refugees, kurdish terrorists, one digit iq Erdogan supporters swarming this country;right to bear arms isn't the best idea

They could just send ISIS 78,000 lb of freedom and be done with it, shame they're not allowed to.

And yes, rules are being followed. If rules weren't being followed the USAF would of just turned the middle east into a parking lot within a week and called it a day. But you gotta protect the civilians.

Modern day civilians can't stomach war on scales fought during wwII. they bombed dresden back in the day and it was considered a necessity to break the will of the German people. The problem with today is we're fighting people who have zero regard for life whilst trying our best not to kill innocents. Not saying it doesn't happen but if you let the American military do what it needs to do we could end arab Islam in a matter of weeks.

Also, we win every firefight the problem is asymmetrical warfare. We can't win doing what we do now. The only way to destroy savages is to speak a language only savages understand. Besides Arabic... I mean utter and complete violence.

Stfu with this non-sense already. It was front page on CNN, FOX, BBC, any major news station as well as trending on social media sites like Twitter and ********. How about you accept the fact that a bunch of innocent people died at the hands of Islamic extremists and address that instead of crying about media coverage? Oh wait, because you're probably Muslim and that is a sensitive subject for you so you'd rather bitch and whine about things that aren't even true.

That said, it's sad what is happening to Turkey. Erdogan needs to be taken out of power for the sake of the Turkish people before they become the next Iraq/Afghanistan.

The most messed up part is. Say ISIS did this, and they claim to be muslims. They should know better, not attacking in the holy month of Ramadan.
There have been claims of ISIS not having a damn idea about Islam, and this goes to show that's actually true.

My parents were going from Denmark - Istanbul last night. Ask me if I was in shock when i heard, my lil bro of 8 was with them goddammit.
Just the thought of my parents could have been among the victims brings a tear to my eye.

Fuk this world, I'm losing hope. parents can't even visit their homeland without almost dying.

Obviously it doesn't take an Einstein to understand its per month. If it was $500 per week then Turkey would've been one of the richest countries of the world. Talking about being an imbecile; currency is written there. I guess you missed the dollar sign. And the blast does emanate from the subject.

I am surprised this doesn't happen more often. I was in Istanbul 2 years ago, the major shopping malls etc all have metal detectors. I went off everytime (keys etc) but cos I'm not brown, they just looked at me, waved me through and went back to reading their paper.

Turkey is a fantastic place, especially the coastal regions - what a shame all this stuff is happening.
