honestly man all that chit people put on their faces make it worse
i used to put all that chit started out with that clearsil stuff, then you keep breaking out, you try something "better", seems like it works but you keep breaking out, you keep moving on to the next products over and over and over again
i said fuk it, no more money wasted on that stuff.
now clear skin, no pimples. no chemicals on my face, no nothing. Just let it go.

Goodluck I did 1 month of tane at 20mg and that chit cleared me right up, don't up you dose quick i started at 80mg and my eyes were dry as fuark, my lips were fuarked and my skin peeled so much i looked like my face was covered in dandruff. Plus low doses apparently put you at a lower risk for side affects.
^if you can get prescribed sumadan bodywash, whenever i get zits or something on my back i lather that stuff on and it dissapears overnight absolute godsend. Stay away from clearasil and that other crap i had laugh lines at 19, luckily it went away once accutane peeled my face off.

A lot of the active cysts are starting to go away, but getting some small ones around my jaw due to the initial accutane breakout.
I have a feeling I'm going to be dealing with a lot of post acne red marks. Any tips on getting rid of them besides wearing sunscreen and drinking lemon water?

Anyways OP to get rid of red marks try hyaluronic acid and glycolic acid/exfoliators once in awhile. It takes time, too. Red marks never disappear as fast as you want them to. It took mine like 4 months to get to a level where they are unnoticeable.

Don't worry OP, some people take this stuff for months and months with no effect and then it starts working fast. At this point you have no idea of the end result.

Anyone here who has been on accutane ever tried putting lemon juice on their face to help fade the red marks? I heard they fade slower when you're on accutane due to reduced healing speed.
Also is it weird that I don't have any side effects yet? I've been on 20mg for 11 days already

Glad this is working for you OP. Face/head acne is the worst. In for supporting OP and seeing end results.

Take care of your skin using sunscreen not sunblock. Sunscreen is superior and doesn't tan or burn you while on it.
Good quality sunscreen that is nice for a start is Shiseido
http://www.sephora.com/ultimate-sun-...20grid:p393074
I use that one since I live in one of the hottest places in the US and sweat off most basic sunblock (not that I use it anymore anyways). You don't have to use this one but as long as you watch out for titanium dioxide and zinc oxide sunscreens you'll be fine. Hell you'll probably wonder why your skin doesn't feel so hot once you use this and didn't think of it earlier. Don't be like me and fuk up your skin by getting it leathery through lack of quality sun protection. Now I have to get Co2 laser resurfacing to correct my fuk up.
As for the actual accutane - 20mg is cake. They are going to use that to see how you handle it. Now, At least for me, trust me when I tell you that when you get to 100 to 120mg a day THAT'S when you start experiencing crazy side effects. I don't know what you may experience obviously or when it might hit you but if you start to feel down do not discontinue. You saw the flyer and signed it before getting on so you know what to expect anyways. I suggest you don't pay mind to those negative thoughts and keep on moving. When you're done with that you'll be glad you set out to get a respectable doc that gives a chit to hook you up with something that works.

When I called those sloot derms and asked them to put me on accutane the dumb sloots told me the next avliable appointment was in a month. Literally just Bert stared them through the phone, did a 360 and switched my doctor.

Btw make sure you stay safe with your liver because accutane is hepatoxic as fukkkk. I'm sure they already explained it all to you at the docs but try to minimize doing anything that puts extra strain on your liver or you'll be pissing blood.

YUUUUGE difference OP. I live in South FL and the ocean definitely makes my face acne free. Saw someone recommend using sea salt. Keep doing what you're doing and you can rest your balls on your sloot dermatologists desk.

For red marks you want to be careful about avoiding prescriptions that can kill bacteria/yeast. That can cause a new kind of acne post-Accutane. Also very common.
Instead, try a Vitamin C serum and Hyaluronic acid. The acid is a humectant and will hydrate your skin while the Accutane dries up the oil and reduces keratin production. Afterwards, use a little bit of Sudocrem to aid the healing process and reduce redness.
Sudocrem works on all minor cuts, razor burn, and burns. It can heal skin, but also let it scab over very quickly. The skin underneath will then heal.
The only way any of this can harm your skin is by using too much sudocrem, which is comedogenic.

It only runs about $4.

This. The misc gets chit all the time but stuff that is in here makes sense and does work in regards to advice if you do a simple google check and results.
