Pitbull owners... what is it that draws you to wanting a pitbull so much more than any other type of dog? Srs unaware. Seems like most people I know who own them just get them because they seem like tough dogs.

Though it is not true anytime I see someone with a pitbull I just assume they are a tryhard loser but maybe it is my ignorance about their personality that makes them so desirable.

We have been leaning towards getting a pitbull puppy as well.

I think Labs are by far the best dog breed, but until I've owned more types, it's hard to say that, and with every dog being different and not always a great representation of it's breed, thats a very generalized statement. But still, Labs are hard to beat man.

There are some aspects of a dog's behavior that is part of their breed, or their early life, not every dog will turn out the same, even if raised the same. It's possible that some breeds are more aggressive prone regardless of how they are brought up. Two of our dogs love kids, the big white idiot will pee and run away from kids, which makes us a tad nervous, as fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate and hate leads to the dark side. :-( But controlled exposure should help this over time.
