Each to their own m8. But sincerely put a bag on your cawk and keep your nut swimmers.

You never know what you will feel like years down the line.

My son is a proper star. My best mate. I never really wanted kids. But i soon changed my mind when he came along.

Checked weather last night.
5mph winds and around 6-8 degrees, then at 1pm expect 25-30mph winds and rain.

Set alarm.

3miles in and the sky opens up. Hailstones then pouring rain and wind.

North East Life. Ffs.

Then a guy drives around the outside of me to then proceed to cut into the left lane. (We drive on the left here)

Make matters worse. He then stops at the junction with nothing coming. I swear I am going to wreck some kunt one day.
Ride it like you just stole it.

Nope, he's got a Teddy bear face. And if he started swearing in that British accent I'd probably just start laughing.

I heard that Shimano is clearing out the C24 for a new one. They are on sale everywhere. Makes sense because the current c24 at 21mm is behind the times. I know it's the gold standard daily wheel but still. If they do a 23mm rim hnggggg.

Kind of agree. This year I'm faster than ever before but weigh 25 lbs more than last season.

I keep thinking how awesome I'd be if I dropped 10 or 15 lbs right now but nope.

Got my Eliel stuff. Dope as hell. Quality is top notch. The bibs may be a bit big for me in 2xl at the bottom because they are a little long but I think that's just because of my weak ass quads.

Jersey fits perfect. Really good stuff. Highly recommended so far. About to take a ride.

Well, the weather is becoming such that I will be soon heading out to the best ride I've ever done. Mt lemmon. I think maybe next weekend if the weather is right. Seriously the most amazing 7500 feet of elevation gains. I love it.

Be careful out there dude. We don't need no more incidents and accidents. Don't take anything for granted. I scan the road ahead and always anticipate a way out. It takes away from a very pleasant ride, but at least I get home safe.

There are a few paths with several miles of open single track and no cross traffic where I can relax for a bit, but I still have to ride through the heavy LA traffic (I turn on my daytime running lights) to get there. Stay safe brahs.

I have yet to meet a purist IRL. Maybe the exception of the mechanic in the LBS who seems to look down on people who have no idea about this stuff.

Told me it would be a good idea to maybe do some exercises like squatting when i told him about the hill i used to be unable to get up.

BERTSTARE!!!!

Anyhow. You guys have some seriously amazing cycle roads. We are the runt of society in this country outside of london.

I do know that the Northumbrian coastline is supposed to be cycle heaven. I am off work for 10 days soon. May pack my bike into the van and actually see what smooth cycling is all about.

Have a happy easter you guys. Please remember what this date is all about.

Peace.

question about exploring new bike routes. I have a bit of trepidation when it comes to going off my known beaten path. I want to ride out to this large local mountain (HC climb) but I have no idea how to get there. I suppose I can just use my phone GPS and periodically check it when I venture onto unknown roads. That being said it feels a little nerve wracking. Or maybe I'm just being a baby. The irony being I have done 12 hour+ long solo hikes in the wilderness and felt mostly fine. Das it mayne. Any advice, tips etc?
Think you of the fact that a deaf person cannot hear. Then what deafness may we not all possess? ~ Dune

We need a new ideology with the core values of reason, honesty, science and secular progress over the older traditions of religion, superstition and dogmatic faith that have long defined humanity. We will never be free to progress and advance until the last stone from the last church is cast down onto the last priest. And every equivalent.

Bring a battery back-up for the phone
Bring way more water than you think you need
Bring lots of snacks and force yourself to eat them at some interval regardless if you're hungry or not

Adventure riding can be fun but it also can be annoying checking the GPS over and over again while riding.

It's waaaaaay more fun the second time you do the same route.

This is so true for all my rides...

I did 125mile ride yesterday for 7.5 hours...the secret to finishing strong is to fuel consistently throughout. I still lost 5lbs from start to finish while eating snickers, clifs, peanut m&ms, donuts, a bagel, a bag of chips, and a couple gels.
