While waiting around two years for season 8, those people who haven't read the books, I recommend reading them.

Also, The Princess & The Queen (Targaryen civil war, 200 years before the current events in GOT, lots of dragon action) then Rogue Princes (Sequel to TPATQ)

Read up also on Tales of Dunk & Egg (Ser Duncan, one of the legendary Kingsguard and King Aegon V)


Serious, you guys might hear too much of the Boos VS Show thing, but honestly they compliment each other.
I enjoyed the show much better and understood it more once I read the books.

I mean seriously, if you're a real fan of GoT, wouldn't you want to know everything about it?

I got the books like $6 each here in the Philippines.

I got PDFs too if you guys want just pm me. I got PDFs of the short stories too (Dunk & Egg, and The Princess & The Queen).

But I recommend getting the real books as I doubt anyone's eyes would last reading 5 books in computer monitor or tablet.

Honest question tho, when this ends I'm gonna be depressed as chit cause it's such a great show, will there be a fantasy show to take its place?
I know they're working on spinoffs etc but life will feel like something is missing without GOT.

Since we're talking theories and chit. I came up with this. Most likely 100% wrong, but hey, we have 2 years to kill so fuk it lol

What if the Night King was originally Azor Ahai. During his last battle he was hurt or taken captive by the Children of the Forest. Who they then turned into the Night King all those years ago because that was the only way to stop him. We "know" Azor is supposed to resurrect and defeat the Night King later on. So what if Bran is the resurrection of Azor Ahai. Maybe when the Night King touched Bran, the Night King had a vision or whatever, showing Bran resurrecting as Azor and stopping the undead from ruling. When Bran has the vision of the Night King being created. After the dragon glass is inserted into him Bran wakes up against the tree and his expression is as if he was the one who got stabbed. So if this is true then it could also prove why the Night King and Bran have a lot of similarities. Like their facial structure, attire, the way they walk, and so on. There are a lot of videos and threads explaining the details of their similarities. The final battle could be the Night King "evil Azor" (he wants revenge for what was done to him) vs Bran "resurrected Azor" (the only one powerful enough to stop himself). The Night King probably figures if he can kill Bran before he resurrects as Azor, then no one can stop him from taking over. Which could explain why the Night King is so eager to hunt down Bran.
