Usually when you decide to marry a person you are in love with them as a person, not just their outer appearance.
I will say however a woman who doesn't know how to take care of herself both externally and internally wouldn't be wife material for most guys into fitness. Taking into consideration that most people don't settle down and marry until at least 30 nowadays, you generally have a rough idea how the woman you are with is going to look like for the next 20 years. Late 20s and early 30s when you're working 50 hours a week and your metabolism slows down is when chit usually hits the fan for people with bad eating habits and don't exercise.

If you're the type of bro to marry at 22 and have 3 kids right off the bat... bad newz.
