Ha yeah. I have had some friends that somehow steer our time to converse to how organized religion is bad or some other subject. The last two conversations with my friend were about abortion and he was basically saying that people are pro lifers because of religion, etc. Pretty draining to talk about that stuff lol.

if you are honest with yourself about human nature then none of this should surprise you.

people have very base and brutal instincts and couple that with our intelligence and there is no end to the corruption, rationalization, and self-delusion that humanity can achieve.
