Dude at the doc near me this guy and his sons spent 10 years hand building an old style sailboat. 100% wooden. I went to the launch party at my yacht club and I kid you not the dude rode it out and tried to whip a u turn and swing it really close by the dock to show off and the motherfuker crashed it straight into the doc and sank it. 10 years went down the drain in like 3 minutes. Him and his sons were crying their eyes out

I have a friend like this. She works seasonal jobs and lives off her parents. Her "goal" is to live in a van. Dead srs. Jokes on her parents for funding this.

Almost $15k right now. They should invest in RV instead and travel south to Brazil and back. I would donate to make that happen

New to sailing....decides to sail around the world, what could go wrong, lol.

I do feel sorry for them, but honestly they were actually very lucky they didn't make a mistake out in the open ocean, they only lost their belongings and not their lives. Had they some how fluked getting out of John's pass and into the open ocean it would have basically been only a matter of time before they became fish food.

Don't feel sorry for them as they still live. Let's wish them upon the open ocean. It's their dream. If only they made it further out from the shoreline, and a small fire started onboard.

Click bait bull****. 23 years old and tired of working, lol. Sold all possessions that amounted to nothing. Bought cheap boat with parents money probably. In the end, lost absolutely nothing.

Why can't you? There are tons of morons donating their cash to guys playing video games on twitch or girls taking their clothes off on chatturbate and similar sites, let alone for sob stories like this. It seems like every retarded idea today draws people who will donate
