Anyone who has ever sat thru a college graduation ceremony knows what was done is standard. They make it a point to announce before the ceremony starts to not only not do stuff like this, but for the people in attendance to hold all cheers/applause until after the ceremony. Think about the person after them...is it fair their moment they worked for is marred by someone who wants to attention whore? Do what you want while you're still walking off the stage, but don't ruin someone else's moment b/c you're selfish.

I enjoyed the people that danced at my college graduation. It made sitting there like a dickwad it a little entertaining
