actually I live in the real world where the burden of responsibility is on both parties. If I am standing outside the vehicle and group surrounds me then there is no barrier between me and them so I will actually go on the offensive first the closer they get. Now if I am in a 4 ton metal vehicle with over 250hp and glass I would assume I have more breathing room. The second they start to try and break my glass I will rev that mofo for a second and let them know and off I go. If you have been to the junkyard before you will know its a mofo to break car glass. I believe our difference of opinion depends on life experience, as a 220lb black guy I dont scare as easily as other folks, it doesn't mean I don't get scared and panic, its just means I don't scare easily.

Plus I have a thing about hurting other people that gets in the way of decisions that come easily to others with a world history of killing other folks.

your situation does not involve a 4 ton vehicle or weapon, so chances are if you get aggressive things might not end well. It won't end well if you where on an atv or motorcycle which are still stronger than humans, but not a vehicle which can win a head on collision with all those mentions including your mom... with you not even getting a scratch or airbags deployed.

cars are not human, they werent carrying weapons, breaking a window is hard, and if they attempt to break the window then you can assume your life is in danger so dead pedal to the floor it is. Your scare fantasy should not dictate your real world decisions, especially when you have a slowly escalating situation like that, it started with fatty and slowly escalated with no one actually hitting the car. You aren't waiting for the window to break, you are waiting for an actual attack, thinking you will be attacked is not the same as being attacked especially when you are in a vehicle. There is a reason we have these kinds of laws, including the one on evading criminals. This kill or be killed mentality is really getting more and more dangerous.
