Roxy I envy you so much. I'm saving up for double jaw.... and trying to see a well known surgeon. It will just take a while to save the money. How did you save for it? It is not cheap, but can be lifechanging.
Edit: wait, 5k euros? That is unheard of. PM or just tell me the doc? I hope you did your research because that is dirt cheap and would make me raise my eyebrows. Sure you didn't get it done in some shady apartment?

Pretty numb but lets try. Ok, the hospital is new and private and half of the people that have a surgery here are foreigners. For romania 5 k euros is a lot of money, not everybody afford it. My doc has 3 other clinics across europe where he performs, but romania is the cheapest one. I will post pics with the room and my swollen face covering my eyes. I look horrific.
I had upper jaw for health and chin for aesthetics. He said i’d be prettier with a lower jaw thst doesn’t go so far, still Sharp, but the chin is not so long and front oriented, it’s lower and smaller. I feel nothing on my upper jaw but i know where exactly he cut regarding chin, the pain is real but whatever, come at me bro.
Will post pics with my room, its a single, own bathroom, tv and looks like a 3 star hotel, not lieing. This is probably one of the cheapest european standard hospitals, so many pregnant women came here because you can give birth in a water Facility, etc. Lots of new machines and has its own radiology department, the employees are double paid than at the state hospital so the patient is treated really well. Its a fight for the nurses to get a job here, no bad language even at the male carriers etc. It is much better than i expected.

Yes, he does not operate alone. This is the price for him, another surgeon and the doctor who performs anesthesia. Also, 1 experimented nurse that is a boss above other nurses and 2 regular ones. So i think its a very big deal. He just came in today and changed my bandages and the freezing gel i put to my cheeks. Tommorow i go to his office and i leave the hospital in the morning

day 1
in the hospital
this is from day 2 before going to bed, my mouth is full of bruises and i am purple inside my cheeks and my mouth, my face is swollen and bruised, lots of blood running through my nose. third pic is from this morning
I can't talk like yesterday and I sleep a lot, I also use lots of ice on my face and took some pain killers. I brushed my teeth and i need to be careful, by mistake i brushed some of my stitches and i wanted to cry and pee on myself in the same time. i ate a small yogurt so i can take my antibiotics without hurting my tummy, then i ate 2 more spoons of sour cream.
i drink lots of water because doc said so, it helps with the inflammation. I cleaned a bit today and had a convo with mom, monday i go again to the surgeon to check me and get rid of the bandage, Tuesday i see the electrotherapy doctor and i go to 2 sessions, 7 hours distance between them. so far so good, i feel the docs are really prepared, they asked me to take vitamin b, vitamin d and l-glutamine, all helping me with my neuro functions. I cried yesterday, today I feel better.
