We just had our baby recently. If my baby didn't have a bowel movement in the womb, we would have gone past the 24 hours of labor. Since he did, they have to pull him out at 24 hours. Wife wasn't dilating fast enough, she was only 5cm at that last hour. Had to do a C section at that point.
