Info came out he was a beta who lived at home and his mother was afraid he'd do this. Cops came and mom wouldn't press charges.

Wanted to be a sports trainer and during his first session with a d2 athlete he got talked down to and quit.

These "discussions" always make everyone sound dumb as chit

How autist do you have to be not to realize the argument "Criminals will still get guns even if there's laws against it" is ****in stupid. Replace "guns" with anything illegal

I don't support a total ban on guns but just lol if you're too dumb to see less guns = less gun deaths

Mass shooting isn't normal elsewhere. It is in the US due to a variety of factors. Media "fame", entitlement, income inequality, mental health, and more all play a factor. But the fact that the average Joe can walk into the store and buy such a deadly weapon with no real checks and balances is a problem.
What is your deepest fear?

Everyone is so concerned with their so called “freedom” (which it really isn’t) they forgot about what actually makes a healthy society.. humans are meant to work together and live in a tight knit community. Not locked in their homes shunning everyone.

A successful society is where people work and live in harmony to elevate the whole group. A failed society ( USA) is a society where everyone is working against each other to make some bucks and get on top, which eventually destroys the whole group.

Evil people own the media industry who put out mental and spiritual diseases that infect the youth. Nobody stops it because much freedom of speech! Freedom to poison the minds of children is what it is
You're conflating freedom of expression with clarity of the mind. Freedom is intangible. It's what you do with that freedom that is ultimately good/evil. That, stems from the mind. This confusion has led you to blame spirituality. Spirituality stems from the latin word 'spiritus' which essentially lies in the Roman idea that all things... people, plants, rivers, mountains, etc had their own but shared life force/energy/soul. An idea that is very common with primitive and ancient cultures that modern man seems to have lost connection with. So it is a bit ironic that you yourself would call for people to work together with harmony, but lay blame to spirituality. It is precisely spirituality/harmoney/wholeness that seems to be nonexistent in society.

People are in more pain today than I've ever seen. And it bleeds through on the internet worse than any other place. What is terrible is that everyone is blinded by their own pain/emptiness and their constant escapism to distract themselves from it ... that they never see those people around them who are on the brink.

Cali is the litmus test for the rest of the US for these sort of laws yet they still have this problem. The guy had run ins with the law and mental health issues and no one did anything about it but hey guns are the problem guys!
Gun grabbers just don’t get it. They don’t understand that the right to bear arms is the only reason that this country existed in the first place, and the only reason it still exists.

Trying to reason with them is like talking to a child about macroeconomics. They’re incapable of comprehending it.

Those are the real causes behind these events, we need a RADICAL change in our society otherwise it will implode. And no i'm not religious or a moralist but it's pretty obvious that this empty consumerist and individualist society is beyond hope.

BUT WE HAVE IPHONES AND PORN SO ITS WORTH IT RIGHT?????

We all got cucked by the olygarch overlords. I always lol when people speak about "globalism" stupidly linking it to communism or marxism, globalisation is the ultimate goal of capitalism. 50 years from now we'll all be a bland paste cucked and ready to exist just to consume what the oligarchs feed us, chit we are pretty much already there.
Capitalism and freedom is what drove millions of people from all over the world to flock to America in the last 300 years. Out of that came a long list of inventions and ideas that transformed the world. From a standard of living perspective ... this is the best time in all of human history to be alive. Neither you nor I are old enough to have experienced true capitalism. That system died at least 100 years ago. What you have today is cronyism in all levels of society.

Violent people do violent things, if no guns they'll just get them illegally or use cars (like the snackbars) or knives.

They've banned knives being delivered now to peoples homes in the UK.

There is no deterrence from crime without guns in the UK, absolutely none.

If you want to fix violence focus on the family and early life at home.

Keep your guns or you'll end up cucked

So how do you propose we get “less guns?” We have a constitutional right to own them, and with over 20,000 federal and state laws relating to firearms on the books we still have 400 million of them in this country, the vast majority of which are legally bought and possessed, and never used in a crime.

What’s your solution smart guy? I’d like to hear it.

Your knowledge of history is debatable. And most ancient cultures most certainly were not communist. They were mostly all oligarchies/autocracies with varying classes, money, and stateful.

If anything, tribal tendencies can be argued to make the situation in the US worse (e.g. hyperpartisianship, segregation, religious fundamentalism).
There would be literally no civilization and no US Today if it weren’t for “tribal tendencies”. People coming together and working for the benefit of the group is civilization.

People only thinking about themselves and money is what destroys civilization and healthy society, which is what we see in the USA. Just because the policies and way of life that YOU support makes it impossible for anyone to come together in the US, because the people are so diverse, doesn’t mean that it doesn’t work. It only proves to multicultural societies don’t work.

Neither capitalism or communism are valid economic models to follow. It’s not collectivist, it’s people working together and surviving how humans are naturally meant to survive, as a group. Everyone of us was born into a race and a ethnicity. It’s not by mistake, it’s how humans live. Building a society that is opposed to the natural laws result in countries like the US
- thousands of suicides
- thousands of murders
- thousands of assaults
- thousands of drug addicts
- thousands of rapes
- thousands of homeless
- thousands of isolated people
- millions of obese people

There have been numerous, countless, societies and civilizations that had none of these issues when they followed the logical idea that we’re better off when we work in harmony with our group, because the nation is what gives each and everyone of us the ability to live and have individuality, we would have none without our group. So the group always comes before the individual

It’s so common sense that I hope you realize how idiotic some of your thinking is.

Humanity has been going downhill since the neolithic and industrialization has only increased this decay exponentially. There are still some humans that live in these type of societies (think about african bushmen or amazonian tribes)to them the concept of one of their own randomly and violently murdering their own kin would seem impossible and incomprehensible
Yet numerous ancient stories of fratricide like Cain/Abel,Romulus/Remus, and Mahabharata dating back thousands of years exist.

“Keep your guns or get cucked”
You guys would still be cucked even with guns so what’s the point? The US is just as cucked with all their weapons. What has the American people done? Everything in the US has gone to **** or is going to **** and all the American people can do is move away to another corner of the country, running like rats from the plagues that they themselves have supported. But eventually there will be no where left to run. The US government has been trampling all over the rights of Americans for decades, what has the majority of Americans done?

Most American people have no clue what’s really been happening since Hollywood, the news media, social media, and their government are all owned by one people, who decides what the Americans should think and do. And it’s pretty much the same thing in England. A bunch of sorry old cucks

While correct, that it worked in the past is rather irrelevant now as we live in a post-agricultural and post-industrial world of over 7 billion people. We're never going back to a world of small tribal groups of hunter-gatherers.

He's speaking of human societies pre-civilization and agriculture. While chiefs and leaders certainly existed, power wasn't concentrated in the same way for a variety of reasons.

Really dont understand why americans are obsessed with guns. Hou have all these issues because you let any moron have a gun, its a recipe for disaster.

BRB let kids buy guns,
BRB let people with sub 70 iq buy guns

For all those saying well we have new laws to restrict an it still happened, therefore we need guns hurr durr. Its too late now since nearly every one already has a gun, they are already in society. Stopping the purchase of new ones wont help. Decades of selling guns to morons can't just be taken away with a new law.

Its actually really simple but you are a beta UK pussy brainwashed to be afraid of guns but i will try to dumb it down for youm. There are around 300m guns in the US owned by roughly 100m people. The 10-11k firearm homicides per year doesnt even register as a blip on the stat line. Not to mention roughly 85% of those homicides are gang related and occur in 5 big cities that already have strict gun laws. The gang members also dont buy their guns legally. They either steal them or get one of the thousands smuggled in illegally from mexico.

The only people who actually abide by gun laws are law abiding citizens. Weird right? Someone about to kill a bunch of people doesnt give a chit about gun laws

Most of the guns recovered in Chicago were purchased in Illinois or Indiana. And for nyc they come from upstate ny, va, and pa. Let's not act like they really come from Mexico.

No one has “freedom” everyone is confined within whatever society they’re in and follow the rules strictly. The leaders of society dictate what the people think and do and anyone who tries to disobey is threatened with violent action. This is true for the USA even more so than some other countries in many regards. I blame the lack of spirituality on a lot of things, I never blamed spirituality for the ****ed up society we live in. People who love money and material things cannot be spiritual nor can they maintain a working society. Which is why the US which is based on materialism is a failure, and why everyone is completely miserable.

The US isn't based on materialism. Its based on hard work and dedication. The materialism side comes in when businesses no longer focuses on things that matter. They use strong marketing to make a product look like it is a need but in reality its a want.

America is undefeated when it comes to production. Some of the technology in the US military that was built in the 1960s can single handedly take down North Korea.

So materialism isn't bad. Its bad when the focus of production is for something unproductive.

Pretty much every event that has involved a shooting is proving how senseless it is to allow these weapons to still be accepted in society.

This event that happened in California last night is a shining star example of what I'm talking about.

The majority of the time after a shooting has occurred, gun proponents come out and say "oh well if only there was a good guy there to stop the bad guy none of this would have happened!"

Well, there were SIX off-duty officers at the bar when the shooting happened and an on-duty officer that entered the bar to try and stop the shooting minutes after it started.... who ended up being shot and killed by the gunman. This is not Hollywood... this is real life. The good guy is not always going to win. In fact, the bad guy has the element of surprise (which is a massively underrated factor in these events). The good guy does not. So the odds are not even equal.. they're in the bad guys favor.

And no, he could not have done this much killing with a knife or a pencil. When people get enraged to a certain point and their intentions become malicious they will use whatever means possible to inflict harm. Meaning if they have a firearm the incidence of death suddenly becomes a lot higher.

It's not my place to say you should or shouldn't carry a gun, that is a decision the individual has to make, it's just tragedies like this are a real shame. Like they say though "live by the sword, die by the sword". So if you're comfortable with gun ownership, so be it.. just don't start whinging when there are shootings like these and the one at the synagogue last week. Who knows, one day it might happen to someone you know / love.

Actually someone could use a knife to hurt or kill just as many people. There are several incidents like this happening, I can think of a couple in Japan and China within the past few years. Criminals are criminals and at the end of the day they will kill you regardless of what laws are in place. This shooting is sadly another reminder that gun laws don't stop bad people from doing this ****. Look at Chicago. Same thing.

I'm so sick and tired of of people crying to ban guns after something like this. It's not the answer and that has been proven time and time again.

Like the theft in one of the train yards within the last 2 years. Over 500 guns IIRC.

I don't know man but what I will tell you is that if that ******* came into a bar I was in he would have got off 1-2 shots max before I'd snuck around for the flank and sucker punched him into oblivion following which I would stomp on his head until it was nothing but a puddle of bloody brain jelly
