1,400 calories is a lot to play with. Chicken bowl sounds like a safe bet, and would likely be under.

Where are you eating?

Moe's. According to their menu if I had guacamole and rice it would have come in at 950.

I didn't get guac or rice but did get an extra scoop of beans.

I'm thinking I'm probably ok my entire calories before this was 640.

I'm not a nutrition expert I just know what works for me and what makes me feel good and what makes me feel like crap. Processed foods have all kinds of different ingredients in them and prob a lot more sodium (depending on what it is) than whole foods. Eat your steak, chicken, etc, but instead of processed carbs as sides do brown rice, quinoa and/or yams/sweet potatoes. I eat yams for my carbs. You get a bigger serving for half the cals that would be in brown rice or quinoa.

^body composition and feels are different things.

But as far as feels go, I suppose they're important.

I personally like eating processed food and do it often, but I never really notice a change in the way I feel... So I guess that's why I do it.

Yeah, everyone is different. Processed carbs make me feel sluggish and like crud, so I stick to whole foods for the most part.

Me too. Especially in 100+ high humidity weather landscaping and doing furniture I'd dehydrate and cramp without it.

That's only when we are out of town.

Main season for that contract is may to Sept 15.

This is my offseason I have a 1 day trip next week. Then landscaping with my local stuff and that's it for Dec.

Have about 4 days of work booked for first week of Jan and that's it till April unless we get calls.

I don't sweat much so don't really need extra sodium. I also don't really salt my food (french fries I do a little), except in recipes/cooking.

I do understand if you're sweating a ton because working in heat that you need sodium/electrolytes. But there must be a healthier way than some of the processed junk out there.

No I don't get cramps from low sodium. I'm pretty sure I eat enough of it, just from whole foods and not crap processed foods.

dat's crazy. whole foods have only trace amounts. your kidneys must be a lot different than mine srs

my theory is that if you are raised eating a high sodium diet, you have to continue to do so for the rest of your life or you'll run into the issues that i do. i can't think of any other explanation.

i got into real trouble with cramps and arrhythmias when i was eating a paleo diet until i realized that sodium was the issue.

Eggs, dairy, some meats, and even many vegetables serve as a decent dose of sodium.

For someone who goes to the gym and trains somewhat seriously the "decent" dose of sodium doesen't cut it. 7-8g a day of sodium is the sweet spot for someone who wants to perform better.

On my way to the gym.

Light legs and abs today.

I saw crossfit girl last night she said are you losing weight? Boom getting noticable already.

Starving to death. 14 more minutes till my eating window opens.

Gotta stay focused.

I didn't grow up with a high sodium diet. I don't even add salt to my cooked food, except french fries which I rarely eat. Maybe once a month if that. My sodium requirement per MFP is 2300 and with my typical weekday eating I hit approx 1914 and that's almost all whole foods. I also do little cardio and as I mentioned before, I don't really sweat.

Slowly ramping up the volume.

Rockit leg extensions 3x10 125
Matrix leg curl 1x8 100 2x8 85 (was hurting knee)
Cable crunches 2x12 150
Leg raise 6in to 45 in 1x15
Planks 3x30 seconds

Due to work won't be able to hit legs and abs till Sat except for loading furniture Tue and unloading installing Wed.

Leave for Cincinnati Tue so this week I do push tomorrow.
I can probably get in some pull movements Tuesday if we get there early enough. Wed will be just work and drive back to Raleigh. Thurs push Friday pull Saturday legs.
