Can I go out on a limb here and just point out that the misc literally encourages this type of behavior, however misguided, and for better or worse Wincel is a product of this environment? How much of this do you think was a product of Wincel trying to downplay his social flaws while still trying to come off as the type of brah miscers encourage each other to be.
How many threads are made on a daily basis about not being friends with women, or about how only cucks do X, Y, Z.

That being said, I think that it's hard for people not to confirm to their own worldview. After all, it's hard to turn around and say "Maybe I'm wrong." And reflect upon yourself.
Those are things that many people are not capable of doing, because it requires one to kill the ego. And the ego is responsible for all of the self-damage that we carry out upon ourselves. We want to be right even when it kills us. After all, changing paradigms is a very stressful thing. It would make sense for us not to desire to change them.
The mind will do some wonderful acrobatics to prevent itself from actually doing anything to improve. A lot of people see this play out in the form of; it's not me, it's the sloots. The sloots are the reason I can't get laid. Or a less common, but still equally a cop-out; "I am simply too ugly." The latter of the two shows, at least, some introspection, but still separates the person speaking from the necessity to change.
Thing is, many people are not living up to their full potential. Many people are out there harboring bitter, misguided, feelings toward others. Many people are simply not willing to accept that some things are just... their fault.
But that's not to disparage those people. Instead, I say this as a wake up call.

I just wanted to reply to this thread because I saw a few points brought up.
1) I never actually helped Roxy with homework. And she never sent me any nudes. I just was clear I had no intention of being her friend. I like to keep females at a distance if I'm not romantically interested in them. I solicited nudes mostly as a joke, but also to keep her at arm's length.
2) I've been accused of "plagiarizing definitions". The definition of a second means exactly what it says, and it is universally defined. You cannot plagiarize a definition.
3) I am not active on any other forums, so any other person should not be taken to be me. I also have no alts, so people claiming to be me are not me.
4) I went to band camp for the sloot thread in R&P since I forgot R&P is meant to be a minimal trolling zone. (LOL, right.)
5) I don't remember having ever said anything condoning throwing acid in a woman's face. I'm not sure where this came about. If I said something like that, it was certainly in jest and not to be taken as a serious statement.
6) Those of you acting like numberguy12 is a dummy clearly haven't read his posts. He has established himself to be a highly educated, intelligent, and competent person.

I see a lot of ridiculous chit posted, so I make my opinions clear on those issues. The most controversial statement was probably in defense of trans people and the idea that their ailment is likely due to some developmental biological issue. I stand by that assertion, and the research I linked actually backs that up. I know that thread pissed off a lot of people, but I also know some of them went and read what I said, thought about it, and hopefully changed their opinion slightly and came to understand all the things that can go wrong during development.
I've also been very vocal about not confusing P of B given A with P of A given B to make blanket statements about a general group of people. Example: A large number of terrorists are muslim, therefore a large number of muslims are terrorists. I see this done routinely, whether it is regarding muslims, blacks, homosexuals, immigrants, or any other group of people.
