Discovery on such a case would be a disaster. It would prove the IC and Clinton team tried to frame trump with Russian collusion. The Russian lawyer met with fusion gps the day before and after the meeting. She has said she got her talking points from Glenn Simpson. Simpson lies about this under oath. The other Russian there admitted in court he personally knew the Clintons. The interpreter was part of Clinton’s state department.

The whole thing was a set up. If they could get him on something else, and weasel that into a plea, like they did for Cohen... that would have been their only shot. Court would ruin them.
