I think it's true people on the left were disappointed a criminal conspiracy, provable beyond a reasonable doubt, was not found by Mueller.

I think it's also true that Trump and his supporters don't want the negative information they know is in the Mueller report to be made public.

Vox:Why the Mueller Report should trouble you.

Why has there been no evidence of collusion found by the Mueller investigation? Has Mueller been compromised? These are the very troubling questions we delve into. We know that dRumpf has a history of paying off people to hide his deep, dark secrets. He paid of Stormy Daniels to be silent on his affair and also probably paid to have the pee pee dossier hidden. Did he pay off Mueller to hide evidence of collusion? Based on dRumpf's history we can only conclude that likely the (not my) president did in fact pay off Mueller to hide collusion evidence. What evidence do we have to make that accusation? None, but facts don't matter if you're morally right like us. As a Vox reader, this should trouble you very much. Now is your time to have your voice heard. Get on social media and ask these troubling questions. Demand investigations into Mueller! Mueller was supposed to be our savior. He caved to orangemanbad. On that note, don't forget to use promo code VOXisMORALLYrightANDyoureAzazi for a discount to have your Mueller tattoos removed from your taint.

I seriously doubt that Conservatives across the board don't want the Mueller report to be made public. If anything, it would be completely the opposite as itshouldexpose some democrats and their illegal activity.

This, I haven't met a single conservative that doesn't want the full report released/doesn't care if it is (minus redacted information that jepordizes the 4th amendment rights of persons within). It's just a pathetic lefty narrative that they are grabbing onto, which is false like most of the **** they put out there. What we are laughing at is the fact the stupid lefties really believe that Mueller is letting the "it was bull ****" flag fly from the White House despite there being DAMNING information in the report that for some reason wasn't enough to act on - it's such a sad last grasp of cope that it's impossible not to make fun of. It will be fascinating to see what's up next for them when the report is released and they are wrong again, don't you dopes realize that the constant latching onto these fantasies is playing very poorly in the public to anyone who isn't already a victim of TDS? Go put together a ****ing platform for 2020, right now the only legislation you've scraped together in 2 years is the Green New Deal (which even the ****ing bill cosponsors wouldn't vote in favor of lmao). Pathetic.

Well, then, it shouldn't be hard to get the full report.

I think collusion is a broader term than the federal statutes related to conspiracy and can encompass a wide range of activities which aren't necessarily crime but which are still bad.

If Mueller didn't find evidence proving criminal conspiracy with the Russian government to interfere in the 2016 election then I believe Mueller. And, yes, I think this means there is very little chance Trump will ever be impeached because of this fact.

However, I still think Trump's behavior throughout this whole scandal has been really strange, and I suspect he did something wrong, maybe not a crime, but he did something. And, yes, I'm still very suspicious.

They are supposed to PRESENT their findings. Nothing more...They are NOT supposed to comment on the contents. That isnt their job. All we have are petty process crimes that resulted in indictments. We know that not one single indictment was based on collusion. And the last nail in the coffin for the investigation was that Muellers team said that there would be no more further indictments. Stop peddaling bull**** and clinging to a false narrative. Brennan himself accepted the findings. LMAO

Trump and many Trump supporters are really emphatic about. They keep repeating it, over and over. No collusion. No collusion.

It sounds as if you don't believe these statements are true.

It sounds like you think Trump did do something that might be embarrassing or reflect poorly upon him.

All the bluster vanishes when we begin speaking about releasing the whole report. Suddenly, we have this excuse, and that excuse, and so on and so forth.

I find that to be very interesting.

It sounds like you believe at least some of what the so-called fake news media has been saying might actually be true, otherwise, why not release the entire report?

If there is no evidence of collusion and Trump did nothing wrong then there is absolutely nothing to fear, right?

It's just like the interview with Mueller. Everyone knows that Trump would not have been able to get through an interview with Mueller without committing perjury. How funny is that? That's how low the bar is with respect to how Trump supporters view Trump.
You are drawing some false conclusions.

Mueller's existence was for a yes-no. Did trump collude with Russia- no. Did trump commit obstruction- no. If there was evidence for a trial, he would have brought forth the charges. That is all that we need to know.

If we are honest with ourselves, the investigation was built on corrupt origins, and existed not to take an honest look at Russian influence in the election and if there was collusion. The FBI investigated collusion for 9 months leading up to it and found nothing. Mueller needed another 2 years? I don't think so. That investigation was probably wrapped up quick, as evidenced by no further fisa warrant extensions. Mueller isn't an idiot. It wouldn't have taken him long to find out the underlying plot. So they then investigate obstruction for 2 years? ...right.

Mueller existed to put pressure on trump politically and to cover for the corruption that existed in our IC. Russian collusion was manufactured using a fake dossier, and western spies inserted into trumps campaign orbit to give the illusion of Russian contacts/collusion. It was smoke and mirrors to warrant an investigation. What kind of report do you expect from weissmann and Mueller? The same guys who ordered an AM raid of manafort, an all our military assault to take away stone, who tried to get corsi to sign a plea with lies implicating trump, who succeeded in getting cohen to sign a plea which included a noncrime for "campaign finance violations" just to implicate trump? Who had papadopolos arrested without a warrant after they tried to have tawil set him up accepting 10K overseas? The report will be a political hit to justify their existence and to give the dems/media some semblance of credibility and a few rallying cries heading into the election.

I've outlined how easy it would be to manipulate the trump jr meeting, the papadapolous meetings, etc. when those people aren't able to defend themselves.

You have to understand why the investigation started in the first place before you can understand every action that has taken place since then. You clearly still believe that Mueller was a good guy, comey was a good guy, brennan and McCabe were good guys, and they were following protocol and everything was hunky dory. That is the furthest thing from the truth. Why do you think all of these people are facing heat now? It all came crumbling down.

Based on your understanding, what is the DOJ required to release?

Now what is the DOJ LEGALLY able to release?

Are either of those "the full report?"

Now ask yourself this-- the republicans in congress and the senate have been asking for documents from the DOJ for over 2 years now, and they were slow walked, needlessly redacted to cover for those involved, etc. What makes you think that brisk DOJ cooperation is now mandatory when the precendent under Rosenstein was to obstruct and impede? Barr already gave the summary...

There is no reason why the public cannot know more than what Barr wrote about the report, except those aspects containing grand jury testimony and dealing with classified information. But all of that can be made public. Congress managed to get the Grand Jury information about Nixon after getting a Judge to agree to release it.

And the Mueller investigation wasn't just for a simple yes/no should we decide to prosecute, etc. There was also a counter-intelligence component to it that doesn't necessarily deal with criminal prosecution.
If we are honest with ourselves, the investigation was built on corrupt origins, and existed not to take an honest look at Russian influence in the election and if there was collusion. All assumptions...conjecture...none of this is based on anything.

They are required to report to Congress various aspects of the investigation. I don't have the regs handy.
Now what is the DOJ LEGALLY able to release?
Everything, once it is authorized... a Judge can release the grand jury testimony. They could release all of the classified information if they wanted to. There's no one really stopping that except Trump.
It's not mandatory. But why hide it? And it would be in the best interest of the country and Trump to make it public now. And if there was no evidence of collusion as you suggest, and if there was all one big hoax, then releasing all of it wouldn't be a problem.

Barr wrote cursory letter giving the bottom line. He didn't really write up a thorough summary.

Translated to: “I know this entire thing was a witch hunt designed specifically to get Trump out of office, or at the very least, destroy his 2020 chances, but I’m still going to shut my eyes and close my ears while stomping and hollering because Trump is a dictator. Despite what the mueller report has proven, I won’t believe it.”

Saying "I can't help you, acting under my official capacity as the head of state, until after I get elected" isn't the same thing as "help me get elected".
