Srs response for you

Cops have some training, but they are trained to always take the upper hand. You don’t get in a grappling situation ever unless you are forced into it. You create distance and use a force above the attacker. If it’s more controlled (she sucked from what I saw) you use a Barton or a taser or pepper spray. It all depends on the situation and the level of danger.

In this case dude had already grabbed her and was punching her in the face. That’s life threatening for multiple reasons, but a big one being he could have taken her weapon (which he ended up doing). So pulling her firearm was justified. Just like that Ferguson situation everyone was up in arms about.

In all honesty she probably hesitated in shooting him which landed her in that situation.

Cops were totally justified in shooting him. He was armed and they most likely saw her down.

I’m a libertarian and hate the idea of a “police state” but this officer was responding to a call of distress and went to help. She wasn’t stopping some random black dude on the street because of the color of his skin.

God you are fuking retarded. Being an officer is a job where a much larger percentage, compared to the avg job/person/whatever, have some sort of physical training. Whether or not Karen the secretary goes to the gym or not is fuking irrelevant so who gives a fuk about who goes to the gym more on a whole.

And the vast majority of people, male or female don't lift so stop talking like cops run into well trained, physically fit individuals every single day. They don't. They deal with degenerate trash that have never had a gym membership in their life.

And talk about fuking dense...this coming from the guy who missed the entire point from the first reply to your stupid 200lb guy taking down 270 lb guy scenario.

It doesn't. fuking. matter. Some massive cop could come up on some tiny little ******* who seems cool and get caught off guard, have his gun taken. He could get caught off guard by the guys friend who was hanging out in the alley way with a gun. But most importantly, if you are a cop in a one on one wrestling match with ANYONE you , you fuked up long before you ended up on the ground. Training and awareness > how much you can bench. And that's where this woman fuked up.

I saw a video once where a woman was being attacked at night by some creep trying to abduct her (basically women's worst nighttime fear) but she survived by getting down on the ground and getting her legs in between them and using them to push and kick him away until he gave up. Definitely saw an opportunity for the cop right when she got taken down where she could've used her legs to push him away and get some distance so she could light him up.

So essentially the answer is yes.... you ARE dense. No one ever said that a jacked male cop will NEVER run into trouble. Running into trouble is part of the job.... but who’s going to be more prepared to deal with a physical altercation if it arises? The dude who’s 6’2” 210? Or the female who’s 5’4” 130?

It’s not a difficult answer.... or at least it shouldn’t be for anyone with an ounce of common sense.

Same applies here but in particular with women. they can be really hot looking and an awesome instagram model but cannot be a great cop also. it simply doesnt happen that way. When you think about it, why would it? She has been giving everything in life and there will and has always been someone there to get her out of any situation that is even slightly uncomfortable.

All of you jerk offs and your hypothetical nonsense...there always a chance someone can be bigger, stronger, more trained, what the fuk ever, than any cop, male or female.

My question to the Leo affiliated people here is it protocol for the officer to run away after being disarmed ? I wouldn’t imagine so but then again you could hear the other officers arriving just around the corner. I realize at that point you’re in fight or flight mode and ****s crazy.Had she continued fighting she most likely would’ve been killed but by running away he possibly could’ve used the weapon on civilians or the other officers. Any opinions?
I mean you basically explain it right there. She most likely would have been killed, already lost one fight with a gun, she's not winning one when he has the gun, and by running away there is a possibility he could use that on civilians or other officers yet, but he could do the same thing after taking the 1/2 second to kill her first. Running away is the right move here unless you thought running away would give you a bigger chance of death than fighting for the weapon. If this ever happens to anyone ITT, I hope they all choose to run. I forget the exact stats but after literally a second or two of running, the chances an untrained person hits you is extremely low.

In my personal experience, it's a little of a self fulfilling prophecy. Black people think all the police want to do is murder them because of all these videos that don't show a whole story, so they don't listen to the police. This makes the police ramp things up, which makes the suspect ramp things up, and then something bad happens. This happened to me last month with a suspected armed robber. My partner and I had him at gunpoint in an alcove. If all he did was surrender and walk towards us, he would have been fine, but he said something like "I don't trust the police I've seen the videos, as soon as I surrender you'll shoot me" so he didn't listen to certain commands and my partner and I had to go hands on with him, at which point he physically resisted because he said "I was obeying your commands" (he obeyed putting his hands up, but not waking out of the alcove he was in and moving out of the way so we could see the female immediately behind him). So he got a little roughed up and then was crying "police brutality" at the top of his lungs leading to everyone coming out and seeing what was going on, at which time there was a black guy handcuffed and screaming brutality, his girlfriend crying and trying to get officers off her boyfriend so we pushed her away and were restraining her, and two white looking cops doing all this. Not a good look. But was entirely avoidable if he just walked out to us so we could see neither of them were armed and then we would have done a pat down for weapons and asked them to sit on a wall while we investigated the robbery. Instead it was this whole big mess and he spit on me so got an additional charge along with the resisting/delaying/obstructing an officer charge and then he was identified as the guy who just robbed a store as well.

BUT, if all you saw was a video of a black guy standing in an alcove with his hands up saying he was listening to our commands (when he wasn't) then two officers throwing him to the floor and pushing away his girlfriend while he is screaming he was listening to our commands, then was screaming police brutality and that he couldn't breathe, that would look really bad.

Dang, that would be such a difficult situation...Can't walk out in a good light no matter what you do. What guides your thinking in that type of situation? Personal safety above all else?

After about 5 minutes some other officers show up and they wrestle the guy downed and arrested him. If they didnt come I def think she would have ended up killing him. so you think a 5'9 165lb man would have fared any different?

The way he didn't kill her after getting the gun is all the evidence I need that men and women cops are completely different animals in the real world.

They're treated as 1/2 of a cop. By their coworkers and by the criminals.

the answer is a definite yes. are you smoking crack? not only physical, but a man's mental game is much more adapt to being able to calm down or control another man. women don't understand what causes a man to act the way they might.
