That's not a "haunted house": it's a torture chamber where the guy physically absuses the participants trying to "beat it" until they give up in a humiliating manner on camera. Plus, I didn't see a definitive time limit someone would have to last, or any other factors that would give time a realistic chance at "winning". No one is going to be able to endure all that just to get $20k, even if they are hard up for cash.
He claims to have spent a million dollars creating that torture hell-hole, so he should be able to make the prize money at least decent. Make it more like $200k with less ambigous means of what constitutes winning and it might be a little more impressive, albeit still extremely twisted. Honestly, it just seems like a way for a messed up dude to legally and openly live out his deranged fantasies under the guise of giving people some sort of experience and supposed chance to win money.

And now there's a lawsuit brought against them and every other haunted house for being "mentally torturing." lol.
Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;
Steal from the world, and not a stone
Tell where I lie.

That includes the marines. Can't assume someone is tough just because they made it through basic in the military, especially these days.Do former military members not know about this? Sounds like an average day in boot for a marine or someone joining special forces?
I have a buddy who was a Marine Force Recon and he said training was hell.

If they went through special training of some sort, then yeah, they are most likely pretty damn tough. That being said, $20k is jack chit for prize money to get tortured for ~7 hours like that, and I can't see someone who got a legitimate military career out of spealized training would want to put up with it for that. There's also the fact that this crap is entitely pointless aside from letting some nut cases live out their torture porn fetishes on the participants, where as someone who goes through hellish specialized military training is doing so for a theoretically important purpose.
