Yeah, if you want to use random destruction of property and violent unrest to combat systemic racism, it helps if it exists in some tangible form outside of your feelings and perceptions.

Until then I hope looters and arsonists catch a bullet. One small businesses' inventory is worth more than all of their collective lives.

It does, I explained it. You think there's all these racist white people walking around but is has no impact on our lives? Are you that stupid?

Its not a law and its not usually overt in 2020. That doesnt mean it doesnt exist.

Anyway he got stopped several times but was never given a ticket for it. This was a majorly white neighborhood. Was this because he was a black guy in a nice car or was he legitimately speeding? There's some gray areas.

I'm not one to assume everything is racist either or point towards that so I see your point. I've also had a white friend of mine in Georgia got a gun pulled on him when he was doing private investigator work by mandate of the court so it was like WTF. I know this **** happens to white people too.
I think there are racist cops but far, far fewer than the media would lead you to believe. Imo pushing a narrative the cops are racist is not only not true but very damaging. Black kids grow up in an environment where they’re told not to trust police. And this will always create unnecessary tension. Idk what to do about it because I can’t fully relate as a white person.
Horny.

I honestly think that most races harbor prejudices and negative feelings about other races. People are tribal, and it's not limited to white people. The systemic element of it existed, and was rooted out and overthrown through great effort and struggle. Jim Crow is over, and on objective measures, things like affirmative action are actually favorable to your community. You have a level playing field, as good as you can hope for, with the primary legitimate last bastion of inequality being the illegitimate war on drugs and mass incarceration.

I'll say that even though I have a lot of family in law enforcement I still get talk from my mom and aunts (all ex-cops, one aunt was a sheriff/fed) about dealing with police.

i think people are unknowingly racially bias... like you see a black person and stereotype automatically registers in your head. i see a white person and a stereotype pops in my head, i'm aware of this though so i can control my thoughts. many people aren't self-aware of this. like tons of people look at an asian person and automatically think the person is chinese and then the chinese or asian stereotypes automatically pops in their head.

The source of racism towards blacks today is the same as it was 50 years ago, its based on white supremacy and that blacks are inferior.

As a response yes, racism goes in the other direction as a reaction to that. But its not black supremacy and belief that white people are inferior.

Extremists are trying to start a race war.

All over Twitter there's videos of rational black folks telling white "allies" to stop vandalizing during protests.

The extremists are most likely, the radical left anarchist types. Using this as an opportunity to further divide the country / oppose the government, leadership and authority.

These extremists are igniting a fire, and people of color are being used as pawns to keep it burning.

That's causing further divide as they are living up to the stereotype/pushing right wing extremists closer to the edge.

Blacks are being baited. Sad to watch our country burn and innocent people being attacked.

There are definitely anarchists and extremists taking it to a level that it should not be getting to.

But black folk were gonna be burning buildings either way, thats the reality. And if they didn't lol cause its the only way people gonna listen.

Agreed. This is not America but it gets ratings and people can make themselves a name on social media. It’s posturing.

"Some" black folks, yes. But this isn't 1953. We have to acknowledge racism exists, there are racist cops/people in authority that use their power to push and promote racist agendas, and that is a form of oppression. But if we are going to call them out for their crimes, and bring them to justice, we have to call out everyone, including those rioting, looting, and harming innocent civilians. Regardless of political affiliation, the color of their skin and the color of their hat.

the word "racist" and "supremacist" has been thrown out so often and so frivolously that true instances have lost their meaning. the same goes for sexist

that's true. a white lady was bitching at me and calling me a racist for the first time. i never been called a racist and was genuinely curious why she thought i was racist and she said it was cause i'm labeling people as asian or white or black and she's like everyone's just human!!#@@#@#... i'm like o..k... lol. i literally didn't say anything offensive. i was just like oh yeah my neighbor's white. also have some asian neighbours blah blah.

Boy who cried wolf syndrome. Most people don't even know what it actually means and the ideology behind it. They are most likely describing what they think a symptom of racism is. There's no point trying to explain it, they are just morons.

Knee-jerk labels are there to just frighten people to remain silent. Dare to question family law bias towards women? Sexist.

Your logic is faulty here. These riots make it significantly more likely that Trump is re-elected. The key to winning for Trump is getting white people out to vote, which this will undoubtedly do.

He called looters and riotors thugs. There is a big difference between a protest and between going burn **** down and loot businesses...

The protest at Michigan Capital did not result in violence, destruction of property, looting, etc. Massive difference.

I've seen that comparison so many times. Some sheltered urbanites seem to have no idea that open carrying is not by itself a threat or a crime in many places.

True. Sword condemned the people with weapons who protested at the Michigan capitol but never mentions the armed people protecting the Aubrey protestors. I Wonder why.

Nah, this is Trump's best ad before the campaign season. So many liberal people are getting upset about what's happening to their cities. And all Trump has to do is go look at what it's like in a liberal place.
