Day one chest prioritizes chest lifts. Day two chest prioritizes shoulders. So bench/flyes etc, first, then OHP, side laterals second on day 1. But day 2 you flip that on it's head and now you're OHPing as the strength lift then doing side laterals before you're hitting bench and other chest lifts

Gotcha. Yeah I already do something similar. My first push day is all horizontal pressing for main lifts (flat bench/close grip board press/earthquake bar press) and my second push day has incline and push presses for main movements right now. Rear/side delts get at least a little love at the end of every push and pull day.

Don't let one bad experience get u down. It's not how u fall, it's how u get back up. Just gotta keep trying until u get it right. But I can understanding having some downtime to get ur head together, but don't spend too long dwelling

I'd rather spend time fixing social life srs. Join more activities, go to some kind of fun event etc. Living for the gym ain't it mane, especially being a natty that yields no real benefit. Time to change dat dere structure and make new goals

As far as program I'd just do full body 3x a week but when it comes to the gym I don't take it that serious, just enough to look good

I've lived in a different city and went out by myself to cinema, concerts etc. I did meet people this way. Just something to consider. If you go out With the mindset you CAN'T meet people randomly, then you probably won't. Be more positive and it will show.

Just make a bit of small talk with some people and see where it goes. Dress nice, look approachable etc

I didn't read all 7 pages but if someone enjoys working out and bring active what else could they do that's gonna be more productive? 6 days a week could mean 3 lifting and 3 cardio/sports, which means they invest in their health and that's never time wasted. Besides lifting for 4-5 hours per week and cardio/sports for another 4 doesn't add up to much, it can serve to set your day up positively or to blow off stress after work.

Lmao so to just come to this conclusion, why couldn't you just PM me and such rofl, why go through all the effort of callouts and all the other dumb chit. I'm not an arrogant idiot, I can take criticism and accept advice if I feel I need it and in this case, sure, could use another change in life and perhaps an alternative route but your delivery is what you need to work on.

A lot of bodybuilders (we are talking about bodybuilding here) workout 6 days a week. Some less.

And some NFL teams train 2x a day (cardio, tatics, weight...)

So whats your point?

I like to troll, but I do get srs sometimes and give advice where its needed or where I can offer valuable input.

Don't take this as a sign that we're friends now, but i just felt that had to be said and I genuinely mean it

I dont care about having friends on an internet forum, like I said, im not an arrogant idiot and when I see the need to change then I take the necessary steps and sometimes need a revelation for it.

But like I said deliver is and was your problem, you tried giving advice through an alternative persona. In the perspective of others, why would they give a ahit what you have to say in a serious notion when you hide behind someone else

They aren't natty, and they do it for a living, we are just average people that should focus our time elsewhere

Check out some natty bodybuilder's routines (Pro atheles from NGA or WNBF or some **** like that)...

Volume plays a huge role in hypertrophy. Doesn't matter if you are natty or not.

Muscle size goes hand to hand with muscle performance. When you increase your weekly volume you are demanding more performance, and this triggers muscle adaptations.

Not gonna lie, there are so many fake natties that I don't pay attention to "natural" bodybuilding because it's like trying to find a needle in a Hay stack. I know legit natural bodybuilders nationally in my country because I know them personally, but outside of that I don't know many.

Lol... "rest" doesn't mean "off", if you workout legs you are resting the upper body.

And working out can actually be benefical in the recovery process. Have you ever heard about regenerative workouts!?

mostly wrong with this statement

Your CNS needs rest, your body needs rest to partition nutrients throughout the whole body for a day not just the area you worked out, theres many systems at work besides just that muscle group worked that day.

Your statement on volume is also completely bro science. Volume increases in reps and sets does not lead to more hypertrophy, and this has been proven time and time again. Volume will only increase conditioning and getting a pump, it will not stimulate hypertrophy anymore than doing a 6-10 sets total for a muscle group to true failure. The only volume that matters is progressive overload with mechanical tension increasing, tension being the key word.

Its a quality game not quantity.

It's supposed to be one small hobby, not your life. Lol @ spending more than 45 minutes lifting on a given day, srs
Older I get the more I realize this. Made the best bench gains of my life doing it once per week.

That being said, cardio is different, and I think doing it everyday has benefits

Agree with everything, being a natty it's all about progressive overload. I find doing too much volume is detrimental to progression

So in let's say a 4 day UL split, would that be enough to mainly focus up on progress overkoad? Main problem before was caloric intake daily but that got fixed a couple weeks back and before it caused my strength to fluctuate

if u read the thread we've already discussed at how more days in the gym/more volume does not yield more hypertrophy and gains.
