why aren't healthier lifestyles promoted rigorously...? If this country wasn't infested with fat slobs, covid wouldn't have been a huge problem. Promoting the aforementioned can literally save millions of lives moving forward... as cardiovascular diseases will continue to steamroll millions of Americans. But yeah let's give away krispy kremes if you get the jab. Makes total fukin sense. Most people don't value their own health, or their families... but we're all supposed to. LOL.

The worst hit countries were ironically the unhealthiest. Countries like Italy have a top heavy geriatric population, heavy heavy smoking, carb rich very calorie dense foods, heavy drinking, they greet each other with a hug and a kiss as a cultural thing, yad yada yada.

The US is the fattest country on earth, the last time someone pushed being healthy lifestyles to combat disease (whole foods CEO) he was cancelled by the screeching Twitter mob.

re:flu-

I think that was mainly attributed to a greatly reduced volume of international travel. The flu moves around the globe w/the seasons.

That is how they guess at what to put in the flu shot- they look at the current flu circulating in other countries that are ahead of us on the merry go round.

Since i am into fitness and bodybuilding i have phases, so the body is changing depending on my goals at the time.
If i want to train for the marine core marathon, i drop pounds or kilos, if i want to bike a century the same thing happens.
If i want larger quads and calves then i change the diet and training regimen, basic stuff.

I believe so, which means this should be a huge wake up call for people to put more efforts into a better diet, exercise and metabolic health.

No one is saying people need to be athletes or shredded, but its really not hard to have like 2 days of exercises and a moderately healthy diet without smoking. That's really all you need to do in order to not be fat and semi-healthy.

Basically if the level of fat people in this country was 20% or less then covid would have pretty much been a non-issue.
