Perhaps that's why some folks never state a position or opinion. Can't be mistaken or incorrect if you never say anything.
So.........can you find an example of an "expert" admitting they were wrong?

Have any of these so called "experts" admitted to being wrong? The vaccine offering 100% protection, wear a mask outdoors, wear two masks, wear goggles, the unvaccinated are a threat to the vaccinated, etc......

Wearing a face mask while sleeping will interfere with your sleep because difficulty breathing makes it harder to fall asleep.

But you said the mask has no effect on breathing???

Still not a single example of someone from the medical community saying "sorry, we didn't know any better".

Anecdotal evidence is shunned upon, unless it supports the narrative you follow?

So let's see...

Half a dozen countries, numerous flights, and being in the center of multiple active outbreaks, all prior to the vaccine even being available - and I never got it.

I guess it's superior genetics at this point, since I didn't huddle in my basement, or send sick relatives to isolate in the garage.

What is she in charge of, again?

Also, please point out where she apologized.

Sorry. You weren't clear about needing an example of someone "in charge" of something or even who or what you consider to be the "medical community".

Wow, congratulations, you lived like a freak with OCD, only going out for errands, and you never got it......

And I'm sure the blood clots would have showed up by now.

Edit : And here we go:

"Reflecting on the past year, I would like to think the mistakes I made were honest ones, understandable errors caused by a lack of information. But not all the mistakes made during this pandemic can be described that way. Time after time, we’ve seen states and localities lifting coronavirus restrictions too soon and triggering new waves of cases, failing to learn from experience. We’ve also seen people protesting face-mask mandates — long after the efficacy of masks was clear — by gathering in large, noisy crowds, a setting with a high risk of coronavirus transmission. The worst mistakes of the pandemic, it seems clear, have come from political leaders flouting the advice of epidemiologists, not from errors made by scientists."

Yup, entire article is just a bunch of excuses and fingerpointing, as expected.

So please, provide a single example of someone from the medical community saying "sorry, we didn't know any better".

There we go.

Thanks for conceding, yet again.

Edit : I would also like to point out, the article was published in April of 2021... yet she is talking about mistakes that she realized more than a year prior.

That's not good enough - nowhere near good enough.

Here's a doctor, in charge, apologizing.

Might not be the exact right words tho

“The pain of losing a child is terrible enough without having that loss compounded by a public debate about the circumstances,” Hinshaw said. “I’m sorry if the way I spoke about that death made your grief worse.”

Apologized, after getting caught spreading misinformation. Not for "not knowing any better".

If you are spreading misinformation and disinformation on the misc, you're probably doing it elsewhere as well.

Fudging numbers, posting fake data, flat out lying, the list goes on and on.

Maybe.

Like I said it's an opinion you aren't afraid to share.

I imagine levying general accusations of disinformation and misinformation feels safer than stating what you feel is disinformation or misinformation.

Fudging numbers by two decimal points in the direction of the narrative you support - misinformation and disinformation
Stating that unvaccinated people are barred from getting tested in beaverland - misinformation and disinformation
Claiming that you select the lot number from a drop down menu on the physical label of the individual syringe - misinformation and disinformation

Want me to keep going?

Making things up, attributing those made up things to me, with low likelihood of anybody caring enough to check, is certainly a technique that can be employed. Dunno why one would, but if you find it entertaining, there's nothing to stop you from having your fun

You admitted to the first one just a couple days ago, and apologized ( or claimed that you did already ).

You want to keep going down the list? Sure, let's do it:

Are you claiming that you never implied that unvaccinated people were barred from getting tested in beaverland?

Yes or no answer please.

We just have different styles of discussion. Probably not all that compatible.

I don't mind taking the risk of stating my positions and opinions on topics. I don't feel I need the distance or safety that can be achieved by going after people who have different views or opinions, rather than the stated views or opinions. I'm okay discussing views, positions opinions, and topics directly.

Different strokes for different folks
