I wonder if Democrats would be upset if Bernie Sanders a) had a backbone, b) was elected, c) was serious about "draining the swamp" and d) faced the same political persecution that Trump has experienced.

Would they get angry if Republicans were drooling over every concocted scandal to discredit any of his attempts to bring awareness to Washington's corruption?

And my answer to this is, I'm not really sure, because Democrats are already attacking RFK Jr and he's the next best thing after Bernie on that front. Democrat voters seemed to be fully invested in Washington's propaganda which kind of allows you to peak behind the curtain and see that they never really cared about going after Washington corruption after all. Maybe we shouldn't expect Democrat voters to ever reach a point of clarity about Washington, and should treat them no different than the corruption they support.

trump would not only need a super majority in the House AND senate, he'd need those republican members of the House and Senate to actually like him in order to give him that "win". Even during his first term trump had a lot of closeted dissenters even among the GOP. They'd step down or not run for re-election and proceed to talk all sorts of chit about him.

I just dont see a guy like Mitt Romney (who already doesn't really like trump) exacting term limits on himself. He'd of course have some mealy mouthed ham-fisted excuse, but it would still be an excuse.

Right. Both the House and Senate would need 2/3 majority and 3/4 of the states would need to ratify the amendment. Never happening, but bro thinks this is why Trump is being held accountable for his crimes.

I'm cool with it as long as Biden is removed from office and charged. If we have moved to actually charging corrupt politicians, then it is evident that Joe Biden needs to be removed and if the Republican's don't start impeachment proceedings they will lose all faith of their voting base. I know I will never vote for any establishment Republican (not that I have up to this point I suppose), should they allow this to go without a response.
