Many, many, many psychological issues allow for relatively normal functioning. Furthermore, depending on the nature of the psychological issues, problems can manifest in one area of life but not in others.

Another one of my girl friends ( actually my girls basement tenant) married a white guy , had a daughter , lasted 2 years and now a custody battle going on.
