I like aventus regardless of how popular it is or hated by the community. I just don't like how there's so much variance with batches and performance. That's why CDNIM is fine with me as it replicates my favorite batch of aventus well and cheap af

Just came home to thing
It’s like dessert in a bottle. ****.
So strong though. 1 to each forearm and chest. I don’t even know how I’ll apply this thing. Have a “crush” type situation going back and forth with some Latina I work with(not usually my style), but damn. I’d love to wear this but it’ll probably be low 90’s. I’ll see her outside if I see her at all though.
****. Don’t know how I’ll apply this. This is definitely a “romantic night out” scent, I think SMW will be my casual date frag going forward and this may become my “deal the deal”

^^ Herod is fantastic. It's definitely a romantic night out scent. I just use 2 sprays with this one brah. One to each collar bone and it performs well on me. The cherry note in there makes it smell gourmand.

That’s what I was thinking re: sprays. For some reason colognes project better off my upper chest/collarbones than my wrists or other points. Wish it were cooler out, still may be okay mid morning/evening. Probably not come July. Could see this getting “thick” in the air/humidity

Sadly I don't have winter, so Herod works best when the weather is as cool as possible in the Caribbean.... At nights. Layton is much better for going to bars/lounges imo so that means Herod for me is limited to date or intimate scenarios at nights. I share your pain in finding the right time to wear it lol.
