i walk my dogs are night, and everyone is playing, srs.. everyone.. anyone outside is playing, phone in hands, i walk to the park and there are literally 30 people walking around the park playing pokemon go. insane.

These little fuking 10 year olds play 12 hours a day and have lvl1000 chit while I'm sitting here with 300cp guys.

i see this game going down the path of flappy bird, extremely popular for a few weeks, months maybe then dies out

Don't even see the positive effects tbh.

Just more distractions and hysteria. I don't want every area of my life to be controlled by a pointless desire to consume.

There's a world of difference between taking a walk throught the woods, enjoying nature, taking deep breaths, self-reflecting and going outside because "gotta catch em all". And that's why I don't want to impose any sort of artifical desire on myself even if it were the most fun thing ever.

this chit is hard as fck, walked 2 miles to catch some pokemon and all were ****ty... made it to lvl 3 and visited a few pokeshops and now i am tired from walking. i saw a few people on their phones but not sure if it was tinder or pokemon go.

tomorrow i aim for more

I think they are meeting at the pokestops (Landmarks etc are marked as pokespots, pretty cool imo). Apperently you get some free chit there.

they make you get way too fuking close to the pokestops. Two gyms near me are virtually inaccessible. A private drive, and a business building. Have to get inside the building, too.

lmao, one pokestop was at a playground today and it was too cringe to enter it with all the kids and single mothers on it when some FA in his 20s goes there to collect items for pokemon go
