Now repeat that process hundreds of times. That is the reality in Sydney.

I know that "why am I getting less matches than before" has been the general sentiment in the thread for weeks, if not months, but I finally have the data to prove it.
Got Plus again after five weeks of not having it. Did my usual routine of swiping right on everyone within a 10 mile radius (about 9500 girls) on Friday after work.
In the past, I have gotten between 25 and 60 bangable matches between Friday at 5 PM and Sunday at midnight (I unmatch fat chicks and uggos). The 25 was an outlier, usually it's around 40.
This weekend I got 19 matches.
Tinder has changed something in their algorithm that is resulting in less matches for the average guy (me). What I'm curious about is if they made a change to benefit the top 5% of slayers, or if they changed something that means that everyone just gets less matches overall.

In the past, I have gotten between 25 and 60 bangable matches between Friday at 5 PM and Sunday at midnight (I unmatch fat chicks and uggos). The 25 was an outlier, usually it's around 40.
This weekend I got 19 matches.
Tinder has changed something in their algorithm that is resulting in less matches for the average guy (me). What I'm curious about is if they made a change to benefit the top 5% of slayers, or if they changed something that means that everyone just gets less matches overall.

Could be, but that seems like a drastic change for a month. To be fair though, it's been going downhill for the past few months, although I had hoped matches would spike again now that they moved Tinder Social to a different tab.Or the male/female ratio has gotten worse
