Nothing better for us gamers than competition within the gaming industry. I got my first chicken dinner this morning, was awesome; smoke grenades are highly under used at the end game.

They should kill Just Survive. I don't think they even pretend to give a chit anymore.

This game looks fun. I'm not a fan of the concept though. I've played at most an hour of KOTK.

I just picked this game up... I played 2 games but I have no idea how to tell where I am being shot from. When I get hit I cant figured out where it's coming from so I just circle around until I'm dead.... any tips? haha

edit: been doing some reading, guess I'll try to pay better attention, been taking cover but can't spot people to save my life haha

Sound/headphones is biggest key. Everywhere you go, you have to keep track of the angles/areas u can get shot from. So you pick the safest routes tactically. Next is anticipating the usual spots, behind trees/rocks, in houses, bush wookies etc noones ever really standing out in the open shooting at you when its at a distance. If you're outdoors, always run from cover to cover, theres too many elevation angles where going prone wont hide you.

Usually on most long range engagements, if you are running, you should be able to dodge enough bullets/take minimal damage enough to find cover and track where its coming from. But there are also times u just get 1HKO by a sniper and cant really do much.

Watch some of the top streamers to see their movement and tracking patterns.

yer, getting better at this.

When im walking though, i can hear my own footsteps. Can other hear them? people seem to be sneaking up on me without sound but i cant =/

managed my first kill tonight against somewhere who seemed even worse then me lol... also played duos with my brother and we managed to get 4th with 0 kills because we saw no one which was strange since we stayed on the move the whole time. Got in a fire fight at the end and got out gunned we were a little under equipped for long range fights

stuck in the open field late game, 2 ar silencers, no 4x or up....top 3 guys left, 1 guy kept driving around in circles in a uaz lol which was jokes, other guy started taking shots at him, eventually tried to ram him. they fought like 20m away, I cleaned up the surviving guy.

Usually you hear the bullet hit around you first then the sound of the bullet being fired off. If you were looking at the player you'd see muzzle flash first, bullet hit around you then the sound from the bullet being fired off. Now if their gun is suppressed it is even harder to distinguish.

Basically try to pay attention where the bullet hits you from. You def need headphones for this game. Way better than speakers.

HNNG. Nevermind what I said earlier, Squad is amazing. Played probably 6 hours last night, got 1 victory and one 2nd place.



I just had to get a consistent setup.

Skar w/ suppressor, vertical foregrip, extended quick draw, 4x scope (8x scope in bag)
AKM w/ suppressor, extended quick draw, holo scope

So how does this game work? You have one life I am assuming. Do you just spectate once you die? How long are the rounds?

You loot for weapons, armor and health. There are 3 cricles you stay in. One being the safe zone (white circle) which doesn't take off health. Next one being the blue circle which doesn't take health off. It is more of a warning and you need to get inside the white circle. Last is outside the blue circle. Being outside this circle will start taking health off of you. It shrinks more and more until the last person is alive. One life, yes. You don't have to spectate especially early on if you die. Just leave and start a new game. Rounds can last up to 40 mins I believe.

Got this game last night with a few buddies and we played for like 4 hours straight. Extremely fun, every game is different. Being able to communicate with people about getting guns and armor and vehicles is awesome. Getting kills in the game is so rewarding especially if you save one of your mate's life. At work right now but tonight we're all getting on and playing all night again lol. If you're thinking about getting this game, GET IT.

Coming from a guy who loves CS:GO, Rocket League and Overwatch

Wait is this free for all or squad based? Sounds like my kind of jam. The only reservation I have with these one life per round kind of games is people trolling you. Especially teammates if there is friendly fire on. This is early access right? Do I have to buy it again when it comes out as a full game or how does that work? Been looking for a new shooter and this looks tight.

Both. You can play solo, duo, or 4-man squad. I have played about 30 hours and been TK'd two times, so it isn't that bad. One life per round makes the game dude, it really does. Gets you in that palms-sweaty-moms-spaghetti mode when you get down to the top 10, very tense.

It is Early Access, but I think you get the full game with the EA purchase (like most).

Randoms, you can bring your own dudes though. CTRL-T to turn off voice chat in the beginning so you don't have to hear the n-bomb and china #1 repeated over and over.

Definitely get it. You can invite friends who have the game and squad with them, if not you can join games with 3 random people.

Set everything to "very-low" in graphics settings. The only way to get good FPS currently, while we wait for graphics optimization to happen.

Last night 3 of us were playing and we got a rando added, and this kid was the MVP. He couldn't, or wouldn't talk, but he listened to our directions like the gospel.

Eventually there are 12 people left and he went and looted a crate, got the AWM (best sniper in the game, 1 shots 99% of the time), dropped it near the guy on our team who had the most kills, then started shooting his pistol at the ground to let us know he had dropped it.

We went on to get 2nd that game because of his plays.

SpookyNegro (srs, no racist) will always be in my heart.

This. I can't play games with respawn any more, currently swapping between this and R6 Siege. Very different games but liking both.

Dr disrespect is hilarious. He has his moments of being a lame ass but overall Def a funny dude. Pretty good trash talker. He had a pretty funny beef with summit 1g for a while.
