Homerun being sparks flying, having sexors and making plans to move to her town instead of Paris. I'd say the night was a 2 base hit.

I see you all are going to force me to be a douchebag today. I did not go see her "for poosay". I have no shortage of options because I travel so much for my work. I went to see her to "close the book" on a pretty significant event in my life (acquiring a language)

Anyways, I think it went as well as it could have gone given the circumstances. I completely forgot she was like 29 when we started talking so she's hovering around 34/35 now. I also always saw her in heels so when she walked up to me it was strange to see her in all of her 5'3" glory.

She brought me to her table with her colleague from work. She was younger, maybe 27 but already married so we chatted about that a bit. But then the conversation immediately went to "So what are you doing here, what exactly do you do for work, and why do you speak French?"

That hung me up a bit because my job is difficult to explain in English let alone a second language. oneitis' face went red when I told her colleague that I never spoke the language before, I just had a crush on oneitis so I started learning little by little.

If I could describe my attraction to oneitis, it's that I saw her as "milf hot". For example if I had actually flown to France when I initially met her, put two kids in her a year later, and that's how my now-wife of 4 years looked at 35? I'd be pretty stoked to have her, but since that is not the situation and we are just two single people... ehhhhhhhhh she's attractive company. that's really all I can say unfortunately. That was probably the worst moment of the night, realizing I basically missed her final years of glow and I was catching her in cougar years. But again far from ugly, wasn't at all embarrassed to be seen with her, so that bit was fine.

The rest is underwhelming as an update I'm afraid. We met up at 8pm, stayed for 3 rounds of drinks each, and table food which brought us to midnight. Conversation flowed surprisingly easily given the elephant in the room that was our history but it never came up in conversation. We just cracked jokes, and made conversation with a Japanese couple sitting next to us. They started conversation in English, oneitis gave them deer in the head lights look, so I had to jump in and translate.

Categorizing it as a "oneitis of 5 years" meet. The night was probably a 3/10. Categorizing it as a random tinder first date, the night was probably an 8/10. It was genuinely a fun night but I don't exactly see me moving there and settling down. The night ended in me walking her to her car, giving her the double cheek "faire la bise", and a big hug goodbye. I returned to my hotel, she made it home, and then we texted for an hour about our history and how crazy it was that I speak French better than she does English after all these years and how surprised she was we finally got to meet. I THINK I just won a cougar friend to take out for wine in Paris, and I'm cool with that.

- Got along great, and we plan to hang out more when I solidify my apartment in Paris but will probably just move forward as friends.
