Somewhat, yea.

Although our people are still very traditional in comparison to your typical family in the West.

But I think that's more to do with prohibited actions in the religion like fornication, adultery, alcohol and drug abuse. Etc.

Mormons are doing it right too. At least the ones I know.

Yes. I went to a higly selective nerd school - no one there took SAT, only ACT. Our requirements were way different than for other schools.
