Anyone have experience with the Midway "Birthday Pricing"? All the prices look like their everyday pricing.

i was just thinking of what i'm going to do when i get the Sig Paur P365. I'm going to immediately get some quesadillas with sour creme. bring all of it home, then take a picture of a quesadilla dipped in sour cream WITH the p365 right next to it.

My parts are shipping... AR incoming.

Might be put together by the time the snow is gone.

Edit: Schuyler needs a better shipping procedure. My stuff is going to my neighbors.

nah been there - not trying to read 902 pages about one model

Do you have an AV receiver brand preference? I've had Onkyo and Sony previously and they both lasted a long time, but both broke eventually. Looking to get a new one that supports HDR10/DV/HLG, 5 HDMI in, Dolby Atmos/DTSX and possibly preouts besides sub.

Gonna be a mid range thing, not high end stuff.

I haven't been willing/able to spend much money on the good stuff other than entry level 'real deal' for the sub. I've just gone for the least expensive stuff that the obsessed guys will admit is usable lol. I'm running a Denon now and it's been fine for several years. Sony AVR's have lasted a long time for me in the past, I'm using an old one for music in the home gym now. Never had Onkyo. I also have never used the AVR for video switching, esp now since the smart TV has a smarthub thing where all the video inputs go to that hub and then to the TV and the TV can turn to the correct input when I say turn the disc player on etc, and there's just the one audio out from the smart hub to the receiver.

I wanted mine in OD but they didnt have any in stock. I paid slightly more for mine but it's okay. Just remember to hit the back of the mag after every 5 rounds or so. I would even suggest leaving the mag full overnight. They are difficult to load to full 30 when they are new.

I think I posted this already but I thought I should get into detail. I ordered a stripped Aero M4E1 lower and an assembled M4E1 upper with carbine gas tube. While the upper was being shipped , I found a good deal on a 10.5" 223 with quantum rail for 292 shipped. I plan on building a SB PDW brace pistol for the 223 and now I'm stuck with another upper. Should I lean towards 300blk as they use the same BCG or should I stay away from 300blk and build a long range AR in 223? I know nothing about 300blk and I'm unsure if I want to feed another caliber.

I hope the guy starts a trend and they get sued into oblivion.

Yup

Also lawsuits against Broward County Sheriff, deputy, and school staff for failing to provide for the safety of a student who was shot 5 times shielding other students. That won't go anywhere because, even though libtards would lie to you and claim otherwise, LE has 0 legal responsibility to protect anybody*

*Exception specific situations where, say, they have somebody in custody. But even then...tell that to anybody in prison, eh?

I know individuals officers don't, but I wonder if the department (or even sheriff) have any legal responsibility given what they failed to do prior to the actual shooting. Doubt it, but that seems more reasonable than holding an individual that failed to respond during the shooting accountable.

LE, be it an individual officer or an entire department or organization, has 0 legal responsibility to protect any specific person.

There have literally been cases of people in anti gun places with threats on their life given panic buttons to call for the police...but not granted permission to carry a gun...who are killed because guess what calling the police =/= having your own gun. Nobody GAF. Also cases of police literally preventing somebody from getting through a police line to act in self defense of a friend being attacked, friend is killed, nobody GAF even though police actively prevented aid. It's been said police wouldn't allow medical aid into the school and some may have died because that wasn't allowed quickly enough, but again, legally, nobody will GAF because the police have no duty to protect anybody or even to "allow" others to come help protect you.

But we don't need guns because we can just call 911.

The only supposed responsibility LE has is to society at large, but as we saw with the LA Riots even that is optional.

You are quite literally totally on your own unless LE happens to respond and chooses to assist you, and is actually able to do so.

Why do you think the rich and famous pay their own private security detail? Well, youknow why.

If you plan to get a silencer and want a sick gat for 100yds and in, .300blk is awesome. If that isn't what you want, do not get it.

I've got a shorty .300blk and 5.56 upper for my SBR. The .300blk is fun and what I'll shoot so I don't bother the neighbors but and type of volume, I'm shooting 5.56

Unless you have a specific reason and intended use/purpose for it, don't add a cartridge to your inventory. General rule. (possible exception if it's quite inexpensive to do so and you just want to have the ability to use more ammo types to go with the flow of pricing and availability when people panic, etc, like some of the stupid cheap .40fudd pisol prices out there right now).

Since you don't even know anything about it and aren't sure, it's an easy "pass"
